Chapter 20: CONSERVE YOUR ENERGY

Monokuma: "Ahem! Hope's Peak Academy's school trip executive committee has an announcement to make. Good morning, everyone! Looks like today is going to be another perfect, tropical day! Now then, let's show some enthusiasm and make sure to give it our all today!"

Hajime: 'Morning, huh?' In the end, that game is still a mystery. Hajime had no idea why it would be the motive, maybe he should just bite the bullet and try to discuss it with everyone. Getting out of bed, Hajime changes his clothes for fresh ones, and then he left his cottage. Once he left the cottage area and walked around the pool, he saw Ibuki standing by the entrance to the hotel.

Ibuki: "Hm... ugh."

Hajime: "What's up with you?"

Ibuki: "Ibuki's music genre from now on!"

Hajime: "Huh? Music genre?"

Ibuki: "I escaped the pop sounds of the girl band genre! So I'm thinking about changing my musical stylings completely!"

Hajime: "Ah, I see."

When he made it to the top of the stairs, Hajime opened the sliding glass door and walked into the restaurant, where everyone minus Fuyuhiko and Nagito were already there.

Sonia: "Good morning, Hajime."

Hajime: "Yeah, good morning..." After greeting everyone, he put some food on his plate and sat himself at a table near the window.

Akane: "What is it, Hajime? Is that all you're gonna eat?" Akane appeared by Hajime's table and took notice of the small amount of food he was about to eat.

Hiyoko: "You just eat too much, Akane."

Akane: "You're one to talk, all you eat is candy."

Hiyoko: "Just because it's candy doesn't mean you should make fun of it. These gummies have four different fruit flavours, so I'm sure they're full of nutrients."

Akane: "You should just eat real fruit." This seems like a bad time to bring up that game all of a sudden, they did agree before that they shouldn't even play it.

Gundham: "...Is Mahiru missing?"

Hajime: "Hm?" After Gundham said that, Hajime looked around the restaurant, and sure enough, there was no sign of Mahiru.

Nekomaru: "She's always here every morning, it's strange for her not to come."

Sonia: "I wonder if she is not feeling well?"

Kazuichi: "If she just doesn't feel good, that's fine... but there's a small chance that she's..."

Hiyoko: "A s-small chance she's what?!"

Akane: "Hm? I saw Mahiru, she was outside the hotel."

Kazuichi: "O-Oh... I see."
