///A/N///
Hey little trigger warning here! This chapter contains sexual assault. Nothing is too graphically written because uhmm... if you write assault like smut you have something wrong with you. I'll have an author's note before that section telling you where to skip to.

///Nishinoya POV///

I wish it was warmer in the mornings. The part of my walk that was before the stop sign where Asahi and I met up was always the worst. Even on super cold mornings like this the air felt warmer when he was around. A yawn escaped my mouth, followed by huge cloud of steamy breath. Finally I turned that last corner and saw him standing where he always was.

"Tournament time!!!" I yelled as I rushed over to him. He smiled and half opened his arms as if to hug me, then closed them realizing what he was doing.

"Yep! Now let's get going so we're not late." He had turned around as he said this and started walking, but I still saw his face flush a beet red for a moment. This time the silence felt a little more awkward after that almost hug. I already missed the warm comfort of our other walks.

But in its usual fashion time sped up and we were there in the blink of an eye. It almost felt as though the Prelims already rapid approach had picked up its pace even more. I shivered, half from the cold and half from pure anxiety.

A couple of the others were already waiting by the bus with Mr Takeda.

"Good morning everyone!" Asahi piped up as we approached them. I waved and ran over to Hinata who was looking like he was about to explode.

"Morning Hinata! Where's Kageyama at?" Talking to him seemed to calm down the almost explosion.

"His sister Miwa is in town and insisted on driving him over here. Apparently they're stuck at a coffee shop right now." I wasn't completely listening, my gaze had shifted down to his neck. Even though he had put patches on early to cover them up, there were teeth marks visible outside the cover of the patches.

There was a twinge of jealousy in my heart. He had what I so desperately wanted. An alpha that was fully devoted to him.

After a while everyone got here and we finally loaded onto the bus. As we took off the pit in my stomach grew. I couldn't shake the feeling that something bad was coming. I really hope it's just Hinata throwing up on the bus again and not something more serious.

Luckily the drive wasn't too far, Asahi gave me an earbud and we watched videos on his phone. The feeling of dread had calmed down for the most part thankfully. The walk into the gym was without incident, not counting a couple run ins with haters calling us "clipped crows".

There were a few games happening before us so we had some time. We all got settled into seats to watch some of the other teams play and do personal prepwork like snacks and bathrooms.

The others had remembered to eat that morning, so I was the only one who ended up trekking over to the vending machine for food. As soon as I was alone the intense dread washed over me like a tidal wave. It was worse than before. The feeling alone almost made me violently ill. I should just head back to the team to make sure everyone is ok but I was already halfway to the vending machines.

To get to the vending machines you had to walk past the bathrooms. As soon as I stood in front of the vending machines I was frozen. That unbearable feeling that something awful was on its way at full force had reached an all time high. I reached out a shaking hand to press a button on the vending machine when, a broad figure stood in front of me. Their smell was unfamiliar and unfriendly. A glance at their shirt revealed to me that they were a player for Fukubayashi.
