As she lunges for me another voice stops her dead in her tracks. "Now now, we've talked about this Lucinda dear."
I turn, looking at the man who's speaking to Lucinda. "You!"
In a flash Lucinda hits me over the head causing my vision to fade and I pass out.....

A short while later I get into my car and speed off. I don't care where I'm going I just need to get away for a bit, away from humans, away from life and especially away from Celine so I can think straight again.

Rounding a steep corner I turn into the woods park my car and walk to the edge of the cliff.
