[ Ties ] Idate x Reader I Guess [OKGEOM - ICE SCREAM]

To the shore!!!

     You recently arrived in Iceberg Isle; you were looking for a quiet place to live with not many people. Iceberg Isle was perfect, and to make the situation even better, you really enjoyed the cold. A few days prior, you just finished meeting all of the island's inhabitants. Or so you thought, at least.
     You put on a coat and some snow boots, as you decided you wanted to go out for a nice night walk in the snow. You were taking in and enjoying the breeze, walking along the walls of the iceberg, snow crunching underneath your feet as you walk. The snow was slowly falling, and it felt truly peaceful. You were watching the snowflakes fall in front of you, zoning out and letting your mind drift, when all of the sudden, you turn around the corner and run into a tall figure, dressed in a black and gray suit.
     "Heelloooo~" The person said, looking down at you. "What's someone like you doing out this late, all alone and in the cold?"
     You like felt something was off about him. The more you looked at him, the more you noticed things about him. First it was his face, staring right back at you, kind of creepily. Then it was his almost pitch-black hair, it had 2 white blobs on the sides. Then finally, it was his tail. And at that moment, you realized; he is an orca. He reeked of cigarettes; he was probably smoking one shortly before you ran into him.
     "I... Uh... I was just out for a nice wal-" you started, before being rudely interrupted by the orca. "Hmm, and what's your name?~" The orca asked, impatiently it seemed.
     You hesitated for a moment, but eventually spoke again. "My name is... [Y/N], what's yours?"
     The orca smirked. "Hm, that's a nice name. My name is Idate." The orca, now known as Idate, crossed his arms as he stares at you. "Anyways, as I was saying before, what're you doing out here at this late of an hour? It's awfully late..."
     "I wanted to take a night walk...?" You said, unsure if that was the response he wanted to hear. "Just a night walk??.." He asked, seeming a bit annoyed or displeased. "That sounds boring, there has to be something else!" You looked at the floor. "W-well, I also couldn't sleep, so I went outside to get some fresh air."
     Idate considered your response for a moment. "Hmm, alright then..." Idate's smirk grew bigger. "Anyways, want to have a nice chat over by the shore?" Idate motioned towards the distance where the seashore was.
     You thought about it for a moment, you were still unsure whether or not you could trust this guy. You still had a gut feeling that this guy was no good. Eventually, you decided to go with him. "Alright... But not for that long, I still need some sleep."
     Idate smiled, his smile was a little bit creepy. It looked even more creepier the more you stared at it. "Good choice, good choice." He said to himself. "Well then, come along." He began to walk in the direction he was motioning a few minutes ago. You obviously followed him, why else would you have agreed?
