After what felt like hours of running, but was only about 2 minutes, you finally made it home. You slammed the door shut behind you, making sure to lock it. You stayed up for around 20 more minutes to think about what had just happened, and also to calm down.
"I should stay away from him from now on..." You said as you crawled into bed. You struggled for a bit to fall asleep, but eventually fell asleep for the rest of the night.
You woke up, refreshed and energized. You got yourself ready for the day, changing your clothes and what not. You walked out the door and began to head towards Yukisada and Shirogane's house. You would say that they're probably your closest friends on the island, even though you just got there a few days before.
You knocked on the door, and then a few moments later, Yukisada opened the door, excited to see you. "Goodmorning, [Y/N]! What are you doing here so early? Come inside, I was just about to make breakfast!" He said, enthusiastically. "Thank you!" You said, walking through the door. "Shirogane is still sleeping upstairs, I'd suggest to not bother him. He had a rough night..." Yukisada said, trailing off. "Oh? Well, I could say the same about myself." You said, referring to last night's encounter.
"Really? What happened?" Yukisada asked, seeming a bit worried about you. "I had a run-in with someone. I think his name was... Idate?" You said, trying to recall what happened. Yukisada's eyes widened at the sound of that name. "Idate? What happened? Did he do something to you?" Yukisada said. "That no-good orca..." He mumbled.
"Well, he said that he was going to have 'fun' with me, or whatever he meant. When I got up to leave, he grabbed my wrist. I got away though, thankfully. Who knows what he could've done!" You said, seeming somewhat unfazed. Yukisada's expression became more relax when he heard that you were able to get away before anything bad happened. "Well, that's good that you got away! Poor Shiro isn't as lucky most of the time..." Yukisada said, seeming a bit sad again. "You should try to avoid that orca at all costs though, he does nothing but hurt people!" He said, his tone a bit angry.
You chuckled, "Wasn't planning on meeting him again any ways." Yukisada sighed, walking over to the kitchen table. "Why don't you take a seat? I'll make breakfast for you and Shirogane!" He said, cheerfully. You happily agreed, taking a seat at the table. Yukisada grabbed 3 mugs, assuming that they were for hot cocoa, after all, Yukisada enjoyed making hot cocoa.
A little while later, Shirogane woke up, going down the stairs. He was a little taken aback at first, he wasn't expecting you to be there, not at that time, at least. "Goodmorning, Shirogane!" Yukisada said, cheerfully. "...Goodmorning!" Shirogane eventually said. "Hey [Y/N]... Is there a reason you're here so early?" He asked, curiously. "Oh, I just came to talk about an encounter I had with an orca last night." You said. Shirogane began to look a little more scared and nervous than usual. "An orca...? You mean... Idate... R-right?" He asked, sounding a bit worried. "Yeah, but luckily I got away before something bad happened." You reassured him. "Well, thank god for that. He could've done some pretty terrible things to you... I don't even know if you want to hear them..." He said, a bit nervous.
Yukisada walked towards the table with breakfast. He set the plates down on the table and sat down to eat with everyone else. After they all ate, they said their goodbyes to you. You had other things to do, you recently barrowed one of Rock's fishing rods, and you needed to return it.
You began to return home to pick up the fishing rod, but you felt like something was off. Something didn't feel right to you, it was as if someone or something was watching you. You shrugged it off as you continued home, not wanting to waste any more time. Once you got inside, you hurried towards where you last left the fishing rod, gently picking it up, not wanting to damage it. You knew that rock would be furious if his fishing rod was damaged.
As you exited your house, you double checked the lock, making sure you shut it and locked it completely. You began to head towards the other side of the island to Rock's house, though you felt a bit nervous going over there. Rock's house was the closest to the Orca Danger Zone, so you naturally felt scared going there after the encounter you had with Idate the night before.
