[ Ties ] Idate x Reader I Guess [OKGEOM - ICE SCREAM]

that shark was getting old anyways

     Idate walked away, leaving you there with nothing but your thoughts, and a bloodied-up shark that was coughing and gushing blood. You looked at the shark, feeling a little sorry for him. Sure, he was trying to hurt you, but he didn't deserve all of that. You walked over to him and studied him.
     "G-get... aw...ay...." The shark coughed. You nudged the shark with the tip of your shoe. "G-gah.. I... hate.... yo..u..." He said. "Now I don't feel sorry for you anymore." You said sternly. You turned back around, and noticed Rock's fishing pole. It was covered in blood, you panicked. Rock would be furious if he saw his fishing pole like this.
     You tried washing off the fishing pole in the ice-cold water. It didn't completely clean it, it was still noticeable, but barely. You hoped that Rock wouldn't notice. You picked up the fishing pole and took it back to Rock's house. You decided to just leave it on the doorstep, you wanted to avoid being scolded by Rock if he noticed there was blood on his fishing pole.
     You decided to tell Yukisada and Shirogane about what happened that day. You hurried over to their house, knocking on the door. Moments later, Yukisada opened it, holding a steaming cup of hot cocoa. "Hello, [Y/N]!" The cheerful snowy owl sang. "Come in, I was just making some hot cocoa!" He opened the door all of the way for you. "A-ah, thanks!" You replied. Yukisada took you inside, you all sat around a table with Shirogane.
     "So, [Y/N]? Was there a reason you came?" Yukisada asked curiously as he turned his head towards you. "Yes, actually, there is!" You smiled brightly. "It's about Idate, but don't worry! It's good news!" Shirogane's face lit up with joy. "Did you kill him? Is he finally got? Did someone else kill him?" Shirogane asked. "Ah, not quite..." You said. Shirogane looked a bit disappointed. "Though, he did save my life." Shirogane and Yukisada stared at you in complete shock. "He did... WHAT!?" Shirogane yelled. "How? What happened!?" Yukisada asked.
     "It's a kind of long story..." You started. "Oh, please tell us!" Yukisada said, listening intently. "Well, I was out fishing, and this weird shark came and tried to attack me. I'm pretty sure he would've killed me, if it weren't for Idate. He showed up and... Let's just say... He made sure the shark wouldn't be bothering me again." Yukisada and Shirogane had the look of shock on their faces. "Really!? He actually saved you?" Shirogane asked. "Well, I'm glad he did! You're find though, right?" Yukisada asked. "Yep, I'm fine!" You replied. "Are you sure he wasn't doing this to trick you?" Yukisada asked, worriedly. "He might try to pull something on you later if you aren't cautious..." Yukisada said.
     "Oh, I'm sure it will be fine, Yukisada." You reassured. "And, even if he did try something, I'm sure I'll be able to get out of it just fine." You smiled. "If you say so..." Yukisada said, concerned.
     The three of you spent the rest of the afternoon talking and enjoying a nice cup of cocoa. Eventually, the sun began to set. You needed to go home, You still had things at home you needed to do. You said your goodbyes and left for home. While you were on your way back home, you noticed a tall figure. You realized that it was Idate. You let out a sigh of relief, feeling a bit safer, knowing that it wasn't someone else.
     You started to wonder, what happened to that shark? You decided to take a quick detour to where you left the shark. Your heart dropped; the shark was gone. You didn't know where it went. Was it back in the ocean? Was it somewhere on Iceberg Isle? You stared at the now dried up bloody scene. You started to back away from the ice, deciding to call it a night and start heading back home.
     As you were heading back home, you noticed Idate has left the spot he was in before you went to see if the shark was still there. You shrugged it off and continued back to your house. Once you made it inside, you finished your unfinished work before getting ready for bed. After that, you crawled into bed. You were exhausted after that day, so much had happened. You fell asleep fairly quickly, thinking about the events of that day before finally falling asleep.
