Chapter 1
"Ma, last na lipat na natin 'to, please!!" I said to my mom with a begging voice pero tinawanan lang ako nito.
"Tell your Papa, he's the one who makes us move from one place to another," sabi nito at binalingan ang ama kong nagbubuhat ng boxes papasok sa bahay.
"I heard my name!" sigaw nito pabalik sa amin. Wow! Narinig niya pa 'yon ha.
We're almost done moving our things inside of our new home. It's our fifth home, to be honest. My family owned a business that has different branches in different cities. My parents are really hands on about it inspite of the distance but our business became big, we started moving from places for my parents to attend their transactions.
Lumapit ako kay Papa na who has his arms are on his waist and keeps on looking around the house.
"Papa, can this be our last move?" I clung onto him. He hugged me and said, "This is definitely the last dahil your Mama and I fixed all of the transactions in the past years which made our connections tight and strong kaya we don't need a personal interactions with the investors anymore."
I smiled gloriously upon hearing what he said so I give him a tight hug and we both jump like a kid.
"Oh, my God! Yes! Thank you, Lord! Thank you, parents!" I shouted which made my father laughed.
"Are you disregarding me now? Na hindi niyo ako sinali sa hug na 'yan?" Mama bursted habang nakapambewang.
We opened our hands to welcome her.
"Are we missing something?" my two brothers appeared out of nowhere.
"Pinabuhat niyo kami ng things niyo above just for the three of you to hug?!" reklamo ni Kuya Lin said na tinango-tanguhan lang ng nakababata naming kapatid na si Tonton.
"Oh! Come here, my babies! This will be our last stop!" sigaw ni Mama sa kanila na agad naman nilang sinunggaban ng yakap.
We're all laughing ang hugging each other. Home isn't really a place for me that's why it's fine for me that we move places, it might be sad that I wasn't able to explore the other side of the world but with this people, I had enough. They are my home.
"I'm sorry for keeping all of you from the life of your age," madramang saad ng ama ko.
"Pa, ang drama mo! Parang uuhugin ka pa yata, e!" sabat ni Elton kay Papa na ang kaninang maamong mukha ng tatay ko ay napalitan ng inis at mukhang may mababatukan naman pero bago mangyari iyon ay nakatakbo na si Elton.
"Humanda ka sa akin Asher Elton De Silva! Hindi ka makakalaro ng Play Station mo!" gigil na sigaw ng tatay ko.
Napuno ng tawanan ang kahapong bahay na tahimik.

"Asti! Can you give this muffins to our neighbors?" sigaw ni Mama galing sa kusina. I'm here at our living room, reading a book, and staying away from my brothers who keeps on bugging me to go out.
I put my book down and went to the kitchen and saw a boxes of muffins that my Mama and Ate Kila made.
"Magbebenta ka ba, Ma? Isn't it too much?" bungad ko.
"Tig-dalawang boxes each neighbors and masyado kaming nasayahan sa pagbake kaya 'wag ka na magreklamo at ipamigay niyo na 'to," sabi niya habang inaayos ang mga ito.
Ang lalayo pa naman ng mga kapit-bahay namin oh. Astig din 'tong trip ng nanay ko.
"Aslen! Tonton! Get your ass down here!" malakas na tawag ni Mama sa kanila.
