Robin cursed Steve's name repeatedly as she ran the towel all over her, trying to dry as much of herself as possible. When Robin finished drying her hair, a light knock came against the door.

"Someone's in here," She called out while moving the towel over her arms. The door flung open. Robin squealed as she found Billy marching in with a bottle of beer in his hand. He slammed the door behind him.

"Hey, I was here--" Robin started before Billy cut her off.

"Relax, I'm just in here to avoid those knuckleheads outside. They won't stop hounding me about teaching them how to drink the keg as fast as I did back there." Billy claimed to her before taking a swig of his drink.

"Nancy did warn you that you shouldn't have done that." Robin chuckled before tossing the towel on the shower frame.

"How's Nance doing?" Billy asked.

"I think she'll be better once she gets out of her. I honestly don't know what Steve was thinking when he thought coming here was a good idea." Robin mumbled under her breath.

"He probably was thinking about trying to reclaim our childhoods back. To be able to have some fun while we can." Billy suggested to her, "You know, even before I went to that lab Max and I didn't have much of a childhood. Neil made sure of that."

Robin looked at Billy and for the first time in a long time, she felt a sense of pity for him. Sure she felt sorry for all the shit they all went through in that lab, but never did she thought Billy had a miserable life outside the lab. It was then she realized she didn't know that much about him. She just assumed (Probably like the others) they had been raised in the lab since they were children.

"Neil is he--"

"Don't even," Billy cut her off, "I don't want to talk about that bitch. I want to keep my groove on and going into that will just get me pissed."

"I'm sorry." Robin mumbled. Billy finished the last bit of his drink before throwing it into the wastebasket.

"Well there is something you could do to make it up," Billy whispered. Robin opened her mouth to ask what he had in mind when she felt his arm wrapping around her waist. As Billy was pulling her against his front, his lips leaning in, Robin shot her hand up and over his lips.

"Uh-- yeah no--" Robin blurted out. Billy pulled his face away from her as he looked at her confused.

"What? If this about worrying about getting pregnant, I'm sure there's a condom or--" Billy started while Robin shook her head.

"No, it's not that. It's um--" Robin fumbled, unsure how to say this to him.

"You don't find me attractive?"

"Sort of. I mean you are good looking, just not my taste. There's someone else--"

"Who? Steve?"

"No--"

"Eddie?"

"Not him either."

"Jonathan?!?!? Oh! Please don't let it be Jonathan! That would kill me!" Billy pleaded with her.

"It's not him either."

"Well then who? Because the only other person I know is Nancy, and it couldn't possibly be her!" Billy chuckled. Robin shifted her gaze over to the side.

"Oh... Oh!" Billy finally mumbled after awhile when it finally clicked in his head.

"Yeah, Oh... I wanted her to look at me like she would look at Steve sometimes." Robin confessed before turning her look over to Billy, "Billy? Say something."

Billy just stood there, staring her down, which made Robin extremely uncomfortable.

"Billy?" Robin repeated his name, hoping for some response.

"NANCY?!?!?! SERIOUSLY?!?!?!" Billy suddenly blurted out, "I mean-- she's not bad looking but come on!"

"Well-- there wasn't that many choices to be attracted to, you know?" Robin joked before the two of them blurted out laughing.

"Do you think Nancy knows about your little crush?" Billy asked her.

"Probably not, and those adults didn't mention anything about... this." Robin stated, remembering how they didn't talk about girls being with other girls or even boys being with other boys. Maybe they didn't know themselves, she didn't know.

"Well don't get your hopes too high. Every time you do, they always seem to crash around you." Billy warned her. She shook her head.

"And to be honest, I don't know if this town is okay with something like that." Billy admitted as well, "I know my old man wasn't okay with that sort of shit. I mean I would merely be getting ready for a date and making sure I looked good for her, yet somehow me caring for my looks made me what he would call --"

Billy went silent before turning to head out the door.

"Never mind, it's ancient  history. I'm going to get another beer, you want one?" Billy asked as he opened the door.

"No thanks," Robin told him. As Billy opened the door, she couldn't stop the question that came blurting out of her mouth.

"Hey, Billy, what ever happened to Neil?"

Billy stood in the doorway for a second or two before peering over his shoulder.

"I sent him to a place that's worst then that lab." Billy confessed before making his way over to the kitchen area to grab another beer, leaving Robin in a state of shock.
