Winter is shocked by how many people congratulate her, by how many of them are staring at her in awe, she feels bad as her mind can not seem to fully focus on whoever is speaking. Her mind keeps wondering back to green eyes, not just any green eyes but Harrys. She tries to peak around the room but with all the people around her she can't see a thing. She decides that she will see him again, he wont leave without saying goodbye...right?
After about thirty minutes the crowd around her gets smaller and smaller, until no one is talking to her but instead about her to different people. Everyone is shuffling out of the door as Winter makes her way to her stand all the way at the back, she stops infront of it placing her hand on the piece that started this all.
"You know, that one is still my favourite." Winter spins around almost loosing her balance, a wide smile erupts on her face as now she is standing infront of Harry. She just laughs and looks down, unsure of how to react. There are so many questions muddled in her brain but she doesnt know where to start.
"How- Why are you-" Winter slaps her hands to her face trying to hide her embarrasment, she hears Harry chuckle and another smile breaks loose. She never thought you could long for the sound of something, of someone but here she is wanting more and more of Harry.
"Lets go for a walk, i'll explain everything plus i need to tell you something." Winter just nodded and they walked in silence until they were out of the building, Winter wanted to say something, anything. She wanted to confess she hasnt been able to stop thinking about him, she wants him to know she has longed to be with him.
"Gratitude swelled within my heart, forever indebted to the man with green eyes who illuminated my worth" Winter stopped walking and just stared at Harry, confused. He had been reading her blog, he had seen she was going to be here, he has seen all those posts about a green eyed man.
"Omg I must seem like the biggest creep, im so sorry I can take them down if-" Harry cuts her off by turning around to face her and rest is hand on her arm. He gives her a small smile that is filled with kindness and dimples, making Winter give one back but filled with hope and belief.
"No don't, I think they're sweet and...if they are about me I really like them." Winters smile widens at these words she can not believe she is hearing. She wants to tell him everything, she needs to tell him everything.
"Harry, this is gonna sound so weird but....I haven't been able to stop thinking about you." Winter cringes at herself, she really needs to think before she speaks. She feels Harry's arm leave her, and tears begin to make her way up to her eyes. She feels like she might throw up, so she turns to walk away. After not hearing any steps after her she doesn't even bother to look back. She storms into the building grabbing all of her things, a bit of her hopes to hear Harry call for her but it never comes.
Winter is trying her best not to let any tears escape before she makes it to the train station, as she is leaving the building she sees a silhouette of a man facing the moon sitting on a bench, hunched over with his head in his hands. She stops to get a better look, the night is quiet and nothing can be heard but Winters rapid breathing. She sees that the man is Harry, and she knows she should approach him, tell him she is sorry but when she starts to hear sobs escape that aren't from her mouth she decides against it.
She arrives back at the train station at 10:30pm, just enough time to catch the last train. She sniffles and wipes her eyes while waiting for it to arrive. She can not believe she ruined every chance she had with Harry because she confessed some of her sappy feelings, like the pathetic person she is. Just as Winter is seriously contemplating jumping onto the train tracks the train arrives, Winter quickly looks around to make sure Harry is nowhere in sight. But why would he be? She steps on and slings her bag and body onto a secluded seat, hoping to never be disturbed for the rest of her life.
Once she is finally home in her empty apartment she throws her things everywhere and quickly runs to her bedroom, she lays on her bed and begins to sob. Uncontrollably sob, until her face is in pain, her shirt is soaking wet, her hair is sticking to her face and she can't breath properly. Times like these she wishes she could have someone to calm her down, to tell her everything is going to be okay, someone to help clean her up and make her feel better, but Winter never gets what she wants.
Her life was finally turning around and she had to ruin it with her feelings, she can not stop thinking about him sitting on the bench. Winter is even more confused after today then she was last week, so many questions are racing through her head and it begins to throb. Winnie gets changed into her pajamas and lays on her bed, laying there with her thoughts. She begins to cry again but this time a little less aggressive, she still longs for that other person to tell her that things will turn out okay. While laying there with one hundred things going through her mind at some point her crying episode weakens and she is able to fall asleep. At first she is peaceful with the darkness, but of course seeing as her mind is her worst enemy she dreams of the one thing she wants to forget of. Harry fucking Styles.
