Winter can not bring herself to look him in the eyes, the same eyes that let her down not even 24 hours ago. She hears him take a deep breath and she feels bad, she doesn't understand why he is nervous, isnt he just going to say sorry or something then leave. He obviously doesn't feel the same way that she does, so he should hurry up and break her heart. Most people like sad poems anyway, so it is a win-win.
"Winter, please look at me and just listen." His voice is trembling and Winter slowly raises her head to meet his eyes again. Green on brown. He gives her a small smile but Winter can see he is hurting through his eyes, she just doesnt understand why. He could have came after her yesterday but instead he stayed. Winter nods at him so he can continue because she will hear him out and she notices he is playing with his fingers, just like how she does when she is nervous.
"Your brown eyes they- they sparkle with warmth and kindness, they captured my heart the first time i saw them. Your shyness gives you an endearing charm, making your presence both intriguing and captivating. I am drawn to your passion for writing, it-it reflects your introspective nature and it allows me... to connect with you on a deeper level. Although I...I let you down, i am so sorry for my actions, i have realised the...the umm hurt i have caused you and it made me realise how much i have...missed you. And i havent been able to stop thinking about you either Winter.....please"
After Harry finishes Winter is staring at him in awe, she doesnt realise it but tears are leaving her eyes. No one has ever said something like that to her before and she can not believe he just did. Winter knows she needs to say something but all her poetic abilities have gone out of the window, she decides to do what she has been wanting to do for weeks.
"Stand up Harry." She almost whispers but he hears her loud and clear as they are the only people in the store. He complies and stands up, Winter soon follows standing infront of him not meeting his eyes. After awhile she looks up, and they stare into eachothers eyes. Seeing the same thing, hope, passion and desire. Harry is looking at her with a confused expression on his face, he looks as if he is about to say something but Winter shushes him while keeping eye contact. Winter stands on her tiptoes and leans to press a kiss to Harrys plump lips. It takes Harry awhile to react and Winter feels she has made a mistake but soon his hands are on either side of her face and he is kissing her passionately.
After a little Winter breaks the kiss and lookes at the floor, Harry puts his finger under her chin and moves her face forcing her to look him in the eyes. Right now it is only the two of them in the world, nothing else matters except them. Neither of them know what to do, but they both know that this is right, that this is who they are meant to be with. Winter begins to laugh, half at herself and half at the way Harry is staring at her. Soon Harry joins in and they are both laughin in the middle of a bookstore, they both walk towards Susan who is in her office. Susan smiles the biggest smile Winter has ever seen towards them, making Winter smile as well.
They both leave the store and walk around London talking about everything and nothing, around 15 minutes into their walk Harry grabs Winters hand making her whole face turn crimson. She is the happiest she has ever been in a long time, and it is all becuase of Harry. Time flies by as it is now 5pm, they sit on a bench looking towards the beach sitting in a comfortable silence.
"Lets hang out more and see where this takes us." Harry whispers after a couple minutes, and all Winter can do is nod, Harry and her are on good terms, her writing is doing amazing, she is finally at peace with herself. Harry walks her back to her apartment and says he will message her when he is free next, saying he wants her to help him write some music, and Winter couldnt of agreed quicker.
He leans in and kisses her lips, sending electricity through Winters whole body, she suddenly becomes really hot and flusterd. The kiss last quite a while and this time Harry breaks it, stepping back as they both stare at eachother, a habit both of them have picked up on recently but Winter doesnt mind. He smiles at her revealing his dimples again, making Winter flusterd and smile at the ground hoping Harry doesnt notice how he makes her act and feel.
"See you soon, Winnie." He waves a goodbye before walking down the steps and out of Winters apartment complex, she smiles at the nickname that just rolls off of his tongue. Everything he says sounds like an angel is saying it and it has Winter hooked. Winter stares the whole time even after he is gone she is staring at the emptiness where Harry Styles used to stand.
"Bye.." She whispers to nobody, feeling herself break out into a wide smile as she closes her door. Harry makes her feel warm and fuzzy inside, he makes her stomach do front and back flips, he makes her cheeks hurt from smiling to much, he makes her happy. She begins to jump up and down, squeal and scream in realisation she has kissed Harry Styles, and he kissed her back. Her life is finally coming together, she wishes she had Emma here so she could gossip all about it, how he smelt, how he tased but she can use her journal instead. She realises she has to blog all about today, from her feeling sad and lonely to feeling complete and happy in the span on 18 hours, maybe Harry might even see it. With that Winter gets ready to lay in bed and dream about Harry Styles.
