Hi!

I made this because I wanted to write about a kid (tolkien) realizing he was gay.

I went through a similar experience as he did, believing that I was straight because that's what every girl was for me. All girls wanted to date a cute boy! Right? Well no. I first thought for awhile I was bi, only until I took my parents' influences and society's expectations off of me that I could realize that so was lesbian.

For tolkien, he had one girlfriend practically his whole life. One really sweet girl that could make him laugh. That was all he needed right? Well, no.

In reality, Tolkien saw their "relationship" as nothing more then a friendship. Kind of like how Tolkien felt with someone like Craig. Except the only difference was that Tolkien and Nichole would go on cute fun dates and kiss and such.

Tolkien subconsciously felt as if Nichole was like his super best friend, his twin that he did everything with. He just assumed that every other guy in the world felt like this. Ignoring the signs that he could be different. Ignoring the fact that the love songs his mom would play on the radio on the way to school wasn't exactly how he felt for Nichole.

and clyde well, he's like bisexual or something. LOL. i didn't do much exploration with his sexuality but I just decided to assume he's bisexual. He likes men and women, idk about any other genders.

If you want to know though, he kind of thought Tolkien was hot but his "gay awakening", if you will, was some gay porn he found in his dad's drawer when he was 10. (he was looking for playboy magazines lol) He didn't know if tolkien was gay so he used the kissing practice as a chance to get what he wanted with a guy he really wanted. It wasn't until the drinking and the fact that he just lost his gf that he decided that he had nothing to lose and confessed to tolkien.
