Mikey was too shocked to even talk properly.
"Am I a spoiled brat, or just a nice person who just has lots of money?"
"I'll take you to your room".

While Shinichiro was taking Mikey to his room, he was also able to give Mikey a tour of the house, because of being in coma and might have forgotten. After that tour, Shinichiro showed Mikey his room, and Mikey was wowed at what he saw.
"This is my room?"
"Yep, beautiful, isn't it?"
"It is".
Then Mikey realized something, where are his parents?
"Hey Shin, can I ask you something?"
"Sure, what's up?"
"Where's my parents?"
At the mention of Mikey asking where's his parents, suddenly the room got cold for some reason and Shinichiro's eyes were...different?
"Did I ask something stupid?"
"They're no longer with us".
"So, they're dead?"
"Yep".
And the way Shinichiro said yep happily rubbed Mikey the wrong way.
"You can ask as much questions as you can".
"Cool, so, I was going to ask if I live by myself, because I'm not seeing anybody else".
"Well, no, you're not, they're other people living here with you, including me".
"Wait, so, you, me and other strangers are living IN MY HOUSE?"
"Yes, and I know you might not remember them, but don't worry, they're harmless".

"Why did you drag okay like that?"
"No reason at all, anyways where is Emma?"
"Emma, who's that?"
"You know, the guy that was in the hospital with us?"
"Ohhhhhhh, you mean Emmo".
"Okay, WHO THE FUCK names their child Emmo?"
"Yes Emmo".
"Uh well, he had business to attend to, but he'll be home later".
"Wait, he's living with us too?"
"Yes".
"Wait, how many people are living with us?"
"Well, there's you, me, emmo and 12 other people".

"They do, but before the whole car incident, you said that they can live here, and come by whenever they want".

And so, Shin and Mikey have bonded a relationship with each other.
