Van Der Kline Residence, Figure Eight

"Come on! We need to leave, Matilda, Louis!" Rebekah, their mother, shouts, echoing through the wallpapered walls.

"Coming!" Louis replied. He knocked on Matilda bedroom door as it cracked open, he poked his head around the oak door. "Are you read— woah, you look nice."

"Thank you, I'm almost ready." She replied, staring at herself in her mirror whilst applying some last minute lipstick and fixing her hair. "God forbid if we left the Camerons waiting."

Louis chuckled as he left the brunettes room. She was pacing around her room trying to find her jewellery as she was getting ready for dinner at Tanny Hill.

She hadn't spoken to Rafe since the night at the hospital, which was over a week ago.

Matilda was wearing a gorgeous royal blue, satin dress. Her hair was feathered and down. And she paired it with her dainty, silver heeled shoes.

The Van Der Klines knock on the large oak door, you could hear the echo throughout the large residence. Sure, the Van Der Klines had money but the Camerons were drowning in wealth.

The door opened and they were met by a mature, blonde haired women, also known as Rose Cameron, Ward Camerons wife. We followed her to the dining room where Sarah, Wheezie and Ward Cameron were seated.

They rose from their seats as they walked in. You would think that Matilda and Sarah would get along great; they were both the Princesses of The Northside, wealthy families, everything handed to them on a silver platter. They used to get along, like a house on fire.

That was until Sarah Cameron stuck a dagger in Matilda Van Der Klines back whilst smiling in her face.

Nevertheless, Matilda would sit around the large wooden dining table and make small talk with her arch nemesis, if it made her mother happy.

As she sat down she realised that there were two empty seats; but only Rafe was missing. "Why are there two empty seats?" She questioned.

"Rafe is bringing a date, dear." Rose answered, as the door knocked. "Ah, here they are now." Rose went to answer it.

A date? What the fuck. She thought to herself.

Two bodies appeared from around the corner, Rafe stood next to a blonde haired girl, wearing a red dress, Amelia Clemente, to be exact.
