Three years have gone by since Alison went missing and a lot has changed for the group, they all lost contact when school started and started to go their separate ways. Hanna Marin went back to her natural brunette and due to her bulimia, she lost tons of weight and became the school's it girl not telling anyone how she lost the weight. Aria Montgomery cut out that pink stripe and moved to Reykjavik with her family due to a job offer her father couldn't refuse. Emily Fields started to grow apart from the world until she fell in love with swimming once more and began training everyday, making it on the highest team in the school and never leaving the pool. Spencer Hastings always was cautious around the Dilaurentis house but slowly started to forget about the torture of Alison and met the boy of her dreams, Tripp Maxwell. James Williams took it the hardest, he returned to school but had to go to a hospital due to his depression but when he returned, he told everyone he took a trip to Hawaii. The group was officially separated, that was until Aria returned to Rosewood...

Hanna Marin was looking in the mirror, her hair was now a dark brown and very wavy just like Alison. She started to apply lipstick and then puckered her lips. She walks over to her closet and opens the doors to reveal tons of dresses, all in the same style as Alison. She picked out a white one and changed into it, she looked exactly like Alison, maybe even prettier with her brown hair. She then put on some Gucci heels and walked down her stairs, Ashley Marin was on her blackberry screaming at someone for something they did. Ashley never really listened to Hanna or really spoke to her. Hanna grabbed her car keys and left without a word. Hanna got into her car and zoomed down the road, she then stopped outside another house similar to hers but more modern. Mona Vanderwaal walked out of the house, her bleach blonde hair and pale skin made her one of the prettiest girls at Rosewood day, under Hanna of course. Mona got into the car and smiled at Hanna, "I love that dress!" Mona said in her high-pitched voice. "Thanks Mon." Hanna replied before zooming down the road.

Hanna stopped outside a mall and got out with Mona smiling and laughing. They then walked up the stairs and into different stores. Hanna looks at Mona and says "I'm going to get some new glasses." before walking into Gucci. Hanna looks around then sees Spencer Hastings, she looks exactly the same apart from the fact she was taller. She was looking over sweaters before Hanna strutted over, "Hey." Hanna said with a smile. Spencer looked at her and walked away. "Rude." Hanna said and walked into Tiffany's. Mona was trying on some rings when she saw Hanna, "Hey!" Mona said smiling. "Hey." Hanna replied before turning to the cashier. "Can I try on that bracelet please?" Hanna said pointing at a bracelet. "Sure!" the cashier said, getting it out of the case and handing it to her. Hanna then winked at Mona before a swarm of people filled the store, Hanna grabbed Mona's hand and they ran out of the store and out of the mall. Hanna and Mona ran all the way to Hanna's car and got in, they both started laughing. "Nice bracelet." Mona said. "Nice Ring." Hanna responded before zooming out of the mall.

Emily was brushing her strawberry blonde hair which now started to have shades of green in it due to chloride damage from being in the pool too much. She then put it into her usual ponytail and grabbed a Vanilla Coke from her refrigerator. She opened it and started to sip it before her mother Pam walked in holding a basket of snacks and little things about the town of Rosewood. Anyone who moved to Rosewood would get one of these baskets as a welcome to the neighborhood. Emily always thought her mother should stick a 'leave whilst you can' sign on there but she never would. "Someone is moving into the Dilaurentis house." Pam said, adjusting the basket. "Can you take this over please?" She said with a smile, Emily was shocked but nodded her head. Emily would do whatever her mom had told her, especially after Alison disappeared. "If it's a problem, Carolyn can always go." Pam replied. Carolyn was Emily's much perfect older sister. "No it's fine, but I'm borrowing the car." Emily said, grabbing the keys. "Please don't crash it." Pam replied before hearing the front door shut. Emily started driving down the familiar road and she then stopped at a familiar house, it looked exactly the same. Emily was waiting for Alison to walk out and gossip with her but she didn't. Emily got out of the car, grabbed the basket and walked onto the Dilaurentis' old lawn. She notices boxes of Alison's stuff with a sign that says "FREE!" Emily picked up a medal and smiled, she remembered how Alison cheated to win it but Emily didn't care. "Do you want that?" a girl said with a sweet voice but it still made Emily jump. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I'm Maya St. Germain, the new girl." Maya said, walking up to Emily. Emily hands her the basket and says "I'm Emily Fields." Maya looks in the basket and says "Perfect! The hotspot map." She then starts to laugh, Emily joins in. "Thanks for the basket." Maya said, smiling. Emily looked at her lips, all she could think about doing was kissing them. "Do you think you could help me bring some boxes upstairs?" Maya said, smiling. "Sure!" Emily said before grabbing a few boxes and heading up the stairs with Maya.
