Chapter 12

-Starting from Ethan's perspective:

I hear her slam the front door.

Oh god, we weren't even together and I already made her mad.

I call Blake.

"Dude I need your help. You got a lady, help."

"Already getting to you?" He questions.

"No, sort of? I need to ask her out, but I just pissed her off." I say annoyed.

"Ha, know how that feels. Do you know any of her favorite things by chance?"

"Well, actually, since we've become teenagers I don't really know. She's a growing woman and that's a bunch of money." I say rubbing my face.

"Don't worry, I'll have Addi send you a list. Anyway get a bin of that stuff with a hand written card saying things you love about her. Take her on a romantic date, give it to her there and then ask her out. You're hot man, you can do this easily." He says.

"I guess, thanks man." I say back.

Not even 5 minutes later I get a list.

God this girl was going to make me go broke.

-Maddie's perspective:

I get a text that afternoon from Ethan.

'I'm truly sorry about this morning. I'm going to make it up to you so just go along with this.
I'm taking you out for the evening. Don't worry about how you look. You look beautiful no matter what.

My driveway at 6. ;)'

I smile and kick my feet.

"God he's even hot through the phone!" I say while holding my phone to my chest.

-Ethan's perspective:

I rushed everywhere this morning and early afternoon, but managed to get everything while spending about $300.

God she's expensive.

Anyway, I made it into a gift basket with a hand written note.

The note will be kept between me and her.

I wait in my car wearing something casual.

-Maddie's perspective:

I rush finishing curling my hair and run over to my vanity doing my makeup.

I throw on a quick cute outfit.

I run out and over to his driveway.

I see him get out and come over.

"You're hot." He says.

I giggle and blush.

He looks away avoiding looking me in the eye.

"Come on." He says.

He opens the passenger side door letting me in and shutting it.
