Montana, 1800.

My family has been here for generations. It never changes. Centuries ago, my great grandfather had started it all. He created our pack name, "The BlackPine Pack." He also created our last name, "The Stone Clan" making our pack one of the strongest wolf packs in the world. We own all the western states including Alaska and Hawaii, with houses for every one of those who are in the pack. Finding us is difficult since we don't show our true selves to the human race.

Although it terrified some people to hear our name. For others, it gave them courage, hope, and strength. It was his job to protect his people from evil. One day during his morning Walk, he watches over his people and has an encounter with a sinister creature. Looking at all of them with hunger in their red eyes. All the wolves could feel it watching them. "Chief, Stone? What should we do?" One of his betas asked, as everyone started to notice the creature and its wretched aroma.

"Let me go speak to the stranger. Go gather the pack." he says, as he shifts into his wolf, heading up the mountain. The stranger was paler than a sheet of white paper. Not knowing that Satan and his demons were busy creating and recruiting desperate people to become more diabolical creatures, he walked up to the stranger. "What are you?" Chief Stone asked in his mind. The stranger didn't move once Chief Stone was next to him. "You are a wolf? Aren't you?" The stranger asked Chief Stone in an Italian accent. "Yes, I am! You don't smell normal like the rest of us or any of the other humans." Chief Stone said.

"That is because I am not like you. I am far superior to you or those pesky humans you watch over so carefully. You should let me take a few off of your hands!" The stranger said as he licked his chapped lips. "These so-called pesky humans are my people. It is my duty to watch over them, for they trust me." They locked eyes. Just then, the Chief's daughter comes up the mountain in her wolf form. "Aki. Go back to the den." Aki disobeyed his order. "If I am to become the future Alpha, I must be at your side at all times," she says as she shifts. The stranger's eyes widen once he sees how beautiful she really is. "Alright." Chief Stone replied. "He's a spawn from Satan, and he's in our territory. Why is he here?" she asked. Her eyes grew sharp, studying the stranger carefully. "I thought so, I don't know why he came here." Her father said.

"Deja que todos en la manada sepan que necesitan esconderse. (Let everyone in the pack know they need to hide. in Spanish.)" Chief Stone told his daughter, she nodded, shifted, and headed back to warn everyone. A fight was about to go down. Once she made it, she told everyone what her father had told her. Watching his daughter take control of the situation, he knew that everyone would be safe. Once everyone was in hiding, the stranger turned to face Chief Stone.

"You have a very beautiful daughter, Chief Stone. I will take good care of her when you are no longer here." the stranger said as he lunged towards Chief Stone. "Thank you, but I'm not going anywhere." growled the Chief. The stranger's face was streaked with horror, as Chief Stone looked down at him. "I'm going to give you a clear warning! STAY AWAY FROM MY TERRITORY!" The stranger smiled and shook his head. "I've been sent to become one of your allies, not your enemy." His eyes changed color. "We'll see about that! If I get a whiff of you anywhere near my pack or my people,...I will not show you any mercy." Chief Stone said in a low growl as a warning. "You and your kind do not deserve to be here! This world is made by the purest of hands, but we are all slowly contaminating it!" Chief Stone said as his wolf slowly disappeared, and he shifted into his human form. The stranger nodded.

As a few centuries passed, all of the humans from the pack disappeared due to old age, leaving their descendants with the wolves for protection and company. The bond between Chief Stone and the Stranger slowly grew as they worked together, hunting for the entire pack and humans. The pack grew stronger because of the stranger's ideas. In these past centuries, there have been new packs being formed as well.

"Chief Stone, we should meet up with the rest of the wolf packs." Tracer, one of his main Betas said. Soon Aki comes into the room with her servant. "Father, can you tell Jordan to quit following me? I can take care of myself." Chief Stone looks at his daughter with caring, old eyes, "I can't allow that, Cub. These days are going to be a living hell for us all!" Aki frowns once her father states the truth. "Still, how am I supposed to find a mate with her by my side 24/7?" His eyes widened slightly. "Tracer, send a message out to all of the other wolf packs of the world. Let them know that my daughter is looking for a mate." Aki smiles as he says this.

A few days pass

The day had come. Getting ready, Aki had Jordan help her look for a dress for the meeting ceremony. "Is she ready?" Chief Stone asked as he walked in. Jordan nods and steps aside. "Aki, go find yourself an excellent life partner, make us proud!" She nodded, as she looped her arm through his. Walking out of her room. Reaching the end of the hallway, they entered the meeting room. Seeing all the Alphas and their sons. "Welcome everyone! I call you all here today on behalf of my wife. We are searching for a suitable mate for our daughter!" Everyone started talking among themselves. They all then stopped as they looked at Aki.

Laughing, eating, and talking, Aki found an interest in a few of them. Eventually, she finally chose one, a country boy from the bottom of Texas. The bonding ceremony took place immediately. Settling in, they had planned their future together. The stranger had disappeared from the pack for two centuries. Grandchildren had been brought into the world. Along with a new threat to all wolf packs around the world. The stranger had betrayed, chief stone's order, and stood amongst the other wolves. Bonding and soon mating, he had created a new, yet, dangerous breed of wolves.

The war started between the living and the half-living. Looking after her young, Aki and her mate were attacked by the half-living. Fighting them off, Aki had an idea. She ran down to the kitchen, grabbing raw meat. Running back to the room, she cut herself, and let the droplets of her blood fall on top of the meat. Grabbing their attention, Aki yelled, "NOW!" As her mate took her command, he set them on fire with one snap of his fingers.

"We have to get moving now!" She says as she grabs her children. They all got out unharmed. Aki howled to let her father know that they were safe. For a while, she didn't get a howl back from her father. Getting worried, she howled again.

A few hours later, a messenger hawk flew to her with news. Relieved that her father was still alive and slightly injured, she nodded and tied a patch of her clothing to the hawk's leg, sending it back to her father. Getting it back he smiles.

"That's my girl!" He says.
