The lights were off, Lynx laid in bed, and his curiosity had gotten the best of him. As I was walking home back from the airport, after my mission in Hawaii, he happened to be outside on his balcony. Seeing me walk in the moonlit street, he noticed something different about me. My behavior was animal-like, snarls and growls escaped from me. "Rose...?" He whispered. I gasped upon hearing my name, turning around in a swift maneuver, and that was when he saw. I stood there with a long bushy tail, pointy ears, glowing eyes, and large canines, my secret was out, he knew what I was.

Seeing the girl he loves in half human half beast form, made him question everything he knew about her. I saw the disappointment in his face and told him everything he needed to know. His parents also explained everything as well. "Wait?! You guys knew, and didn't even bother telling me!" Feeling betrayed he walks up to his room, grabs his jacket, walking towards his balcony about to escape.

Catching him off guard, "What are you doing? Let me go." He whispered calmly. I led him to the woods, he stared at me, "Please don't be mad... I was going to tell you soon, you know I would never lie to you...?" I looked at him. He stood there, and for a moment a frown was displayed until my eyes had tears. He walks towards me and wraps me in his arms. "I'm so sorry!" I whisper.

Placing a kiss on my forehead, he thought to himself, "I'm guessing this is what he meant." Lynx breaks the silence and says. "Look, I'm not mad... how could I ever be mad at you?" My tears were wiped away, I looked up at him, he smiled and said, "I wish you'd let me know sooner though." I stayed there in his arms. He caught a glimpse of me smiling, and chuckled a bit.

After a while, he let go and asked, "Is he the same thing?" He was talking about Alex, and I nodded. "The whole group we hang out with during the morning, lunch, and after school." I thought about it and decided to tell him everything. "Half of the school's population are wolves, the rest of the population is classified. Only me, the rest of the wolves, and the staff know." I said. "If you think about it, on every full moon, you can hear wolves howling and dogs going crazy. They wish they could be free like us." I say as my ears twitch to the left. "I think everyone in this town is as well," I say as I try contacting Alex. "Looks like he's still on tour," I say, putting my phone away. "So can you completely turn into a wolf, or is it just the ears and tail that appear?" He asked me as he watched my ears twitch.

A mischievous smile appeared on my face. "I can't go full wolf yet. I'm stuck with these for now. Why? Did you want to see what would happen If you made a wolf mad?" He stepped back a bit as I inched closer. He backed away slowly, keeping his eyes on me. He's smart, I'll give him that. Using his hands to feel his way back.

I had him cornered up against a tree and crawled onto him. His eyes went wide as I licked him. I backed off, watching him shake his head, breaking free from the trance I put him under. We walk back to his place, and I stay behind a bit, "What's wrong?" He asks, turning around, finding me too far from him. "I don't feel welcome in your house anymore. I feel like I've betrayed you too much." I say.

Walking towards me, he reaches for one of my hands, lifting it. He gently places it on his heart, "You'll always be welcome in my house. You should know that. Even though I have to be engaged to that snake." I knew he was talking about Lidiah. I shake my head.

He then whispered the rest, "I haven't told you this, but ever since I met you, I have always had feelings for you!" With that, he kissed my forehead and wrapped his arms around me. I put my hands on his chest, pushing against him. "Lynx, I-I can't...I already have someone." Trying to explain that I was already taken, he pulled back to look at me. "It's that Delinquent isn't it?" He asked.

Knowing that he was going to judge Alex, I put a wall up, disconnecting my thoughts from him. "Rose, why the hell do you even stick with him, when he doesn't even have the time for you?!" He asked. That was the last thing I needed to hear to make me snap. "You don't know that! You don't even know who he is to say that!" I protested against him, my wolf wanting to attack, snarls coming out of me, making him back up.
