Eight Months Later, October 2014
Life for Shannon has drastically improved in more ways than one. For starters she was in an agency that was kind to her and was overall a friendly environment to work with. She felt welcomed thanks to her new ajusshi and the new friends who welcomed her made her feel included.
She continued to live with Eunbi whenever she was off from training. Eunbi became her best friend overnight. Even though the girl can be a little hyper at times, she had a great heart. Speaking of training the environment was friendly and welcoming. A stark contrast from her previous agency. The instructors were kind and allowed her to get proper rest so she can recover. It was tough, but after a month in she began to see improvements in her foot works. She felt lighter, she felt like she could singer longer without feeling the need to stop.
Because she was now a Source Trainee Sungjin enrolled her into SOPA High, a special academy reserved for students who wish to work in the entertainment industry. She sported the official golden blazer and blue skirt her friends were wearing. She immediately grew to love the outfit and over time, Shannon became confident to show to them point she would show off her bangs this time dyed with a hazelnut complexion. She wore knee socks for extra comfort, and tennis shoes for equal comfort.
The important change was meeting her new trainee friends. Eunbi was already was one she was familiar with. She was goofy, quirky, and gets easily distracted over things. She was outgoing and made sure to include Shannon when hanging out.
The other girl Shannon befriended was Choi Yuna. She was tall, wore glasses, and had the best voice Shannon heard of. In fact Yuna's voice was just as good as hers. Soon enough they became the vocal pair. She personally enjoyed singing duets with Yuna and helped the two improve their vocal ranges. She talked a little formally, was slightly reserved compared to the other girls, but had a caring side. They both share common tastes of music, similar backgrounds growing up, and had the same dreams of being a singer.
Yerin was the clumsy yet lovable girl to be around. She is surprisingly considerate of other people and is good to share your feelings to. Shannon found herself connecting closer to Yerin as such. Despite being older, she gets mistaken A LOT as maknae, Yerin also displayed a nerdy side as she loves reading manga and watching anime. Yerin could go for hours talking about the lastest One Piece episode. She sometimes acts dramatic as a result often pretending she is main character.
Sojeong was oldest of the trainees and as such, doesn't attend SOPA High. Sojeong is someone Shannon admires. She has an incredible work ethic unlike no other. Whenever Shannon is struggling with a workout, Sojeong was there to correct her. She owes a lot to her in some ways. She's also very energetic when it comes to dancing. She can out dance pretty much all the girls which is why she Sungjin-nim's star trainee. She's also trained the longest out of all the girls.
The other Eunbi or Hwang Eunbi was something of a joker. She almost never takes her training seriously and has a habit of skipping class, something that has gotten her into trouble a few times. Initially they got off in the wrong foot. While Shannon was timid and kind, Eunbi was aggressive and competitive. She gets wildly competitive with Sojeong and Yuna leading to some wild confrontations. She seemed to have a joy picking on her and Yerin for liking "nerdy" things like video games. What Shannon will give her credit for is her confidence. She is pretty damn good at giving a good performance. No matter what she does, she always wants to be center of it.
The last girl Shannon got to meet was Kim Yewon nicknamed "Umji". She immediately stood out from the other girls with her small sharp eyes and roundish face that makes her cheeks pronounced. She doesn't interact that much compared to other girls. Shannon couldn't tell what her problem was, but she seemed lost in her own world. Eunha says it's because she gets bullied a lot but Shannon thinks there's something more. She barely got her to talk. Just like the other Eunbi she's younger than Shannon, possibly the youngest.
