Colorado

I wiped my tears as I ran through the hallways to my room. I huffed as I grabbed a suitcase to put all my special belongings in and let the servants do the rest.

"Hey" I heard a familiar voice come from my door I turned around and smiled "Hey cole." I sighed as I wiped the remaining tears on my rosy cheeks "Me and Dylan just found out the news a few minutes ago, how you doing eve? (pronounced: eh-vee)" he said walking over to my bed

"I can't believe him!" I exclaimed "It's okay, you'll be fine I would've talked him out of it if he didn't tell us all so last minute" He said rubbing my back

I sighed and looked at him. I'll miss him the most out of everyone really, he's the closest sibling to me even if him and Dylan are the same age Cole gets me better

"I know." I stood up and walked to my mirror and examined myself "Ima leave you be for awhile get some rest for the last day of school for you tomorrow." Cole sighed

I looked back at him quickly and just processed what he said. I'm never going to school again?? What about Juliette, Lily, My study's and Ethan. I sighed in defeat and continued to pack my bag

Wednesday, September 20th 2023

I woke up to the sound of my alarm and laid down to let my brain think about this being my last day of escape.

I walked over to my chair and picked up the outfit I laid down the night before

I finished getting ready and quickly rushed down stairs to get a banana for the car ride to school and hopped into the car admiring the sun rise

"Hey" I sighed walking into english one last time "Why so blue?" Juliette questioned looking at me concerned as did Lilly

"Colorado." I said quickly coming up with a lie in my head "Colorado?" Lily and Juliette both said in unison "Yes i'm moving to Colorado tomorrow todays my last day.." I said tearing up "No way!" Lily yelled making heads turn to us in the classroom

"I'm sorry guys i just found out yesterday and now I dont know how i'm going to do this" i said hushing Lily

Me , Juliette and Lily all sat there in silence before Ethan came up to us and broke the silence "Hey guys"

"Ethan don't talk to me right now I just found out my fucking best friend is moving to Colorado" Juliette said quickly pushing Ethan back "What? Who iris?" turning his tone in a confused tone "Yes" I spoke up , "What about my game??" he asked "I'm sorry I can't come i'm moving tomorrow" I teared up all over again

..after school

Me, Lily and Juliette were standing outside of the school as we all hugged and cried knowing this was the last time

My car pulled up and we all started crying even more , the car honked a few times so we all knew it was time for me to go

"Bye I love you guys." I said waving "Bye we love you too" They said in unison holding each other for support

As the car drove off my mind travels back to Ethan. What will happen to us now? I kept questioning to myself as i dozed off to sleep on the way home.

"Miss??" The driver said pulling up to the car snapping me out of my sleep, I got up and quickly collected my thoughts and got out the car rushing through the door

As I walked into my room, it was all blank. It was no longer my room. I stood there looking at the colorless walls and the naked bed

"Iris?" My mom came in snapping me out of my trance "Oh yes hi mama" I sighed moving to sit on the bed with my mom following and sitting next to me

"Tomorrow will be your last day here before we send you off" my mom said disappointed"I know." I said sternly "What dress would you like?" My mom said while showing me a red and black dress

I sat there thinking for awhile "Black." I popped of the bed and grabbed a miniature doll of me with a black dress on it. My grandma got me this doll before she died 2 years ago, she was my favorite person ever
