Rowan's POV
"Rowan get the hell up" Gabriel banged at my door waking me up. "Fuck off!" I yelled groaning while I stretched "We gotta get to the base wake the fuck up and get down stairs at 7" He yelled back banging on my door one last time

I checked the alarm clock that was next to my bed and jumped up to my bathroom after seeing it was 6:49

I made my way down stairs fixing my fluffy hair due to the fact I rushed to get ready. "Greaaatttt, you are finally ready let's go" Gabriel walked out to the car, I rolled my eyes and looked over to the kitchen and saw Iris looking over at us. Well was, she turned away when I looked over to her.

She was sitting down at the kitchen island with Charlie who was most likely ranting about random girl drama stuff

"Rowan c'mon!!" An impatient Gabriel yelled from the car, I stopped looking at Iris and walked to the car.

Don't get me wrong Iris is really pretty but she's engaged to Gabe and my father told me not to interfere with anything. I was gonna try and be friends with her but I can't. Apparently only Charlie can cause she's a girl or some shit

Charlie is a total pain in the ass when it comes to girls. Me and Gabriel have tons of one night stands and when Charlie finds out she gives us a big ass lecture about using girls and this and that

She's only 14 but she acts like our older sister when it comes to certain things. I can tell her and Iris will become close, which means Charlie will stick up for her and bitch at me and Gabe for everything we do

Before I knew it we got to the base giving me the sense to toughen up, because when it comes to the mafia I portray an act of being a really cold hearted person which i'm the total opposite of, sometimes.

I can kill with no remorse and yell at 15 year old recruits but i'm a sensitive person, I just keep it all to myself and suck it up

Gabriel on the other hand is actually cold hearted, he's so damn rude to everyone besides me and Charlie. Even if he is it's just tough love

After getting through security which took about 15 minutes we finally made it to the core of our base. "Ro you're gonna have to train some recruits ima go handle some other stuff right now" Gabriel instructed me as I gave him a nod

I walked towards to the recruit center where I saw roughly about 16 teens bickering with each other. I walked inside making the whole room tense, there were 7 girls and 9 boys. Great. I hate teaching girl recruits because they think this is gonna be some type of love story and try to hit on me

In the corner of my eye I saw 2 blond girls twirling their hair and eyeing me down. I rolled my eyes and began talking making them pout "Okay today we will start with seeing what level you are on, first off knife throwing."

We made our way down to the knife throwing center which made everyone's face go white but this one girl. She smiled and volunteered to go first "What's your name?" I questioned

"Anastasia." She replied "Age?" I asked wanting to see if she was old enough for me. "16..almost 17" She raised her eyebrow

"Great. Now grab 3 knifes and throw them to the board- I know." She cut me off making me eyebrows furrow,I let it slide only because I wanted to see how good she really was before I yelled at her

She smirked at me and threw the first knife at the board getting it right in the middle, she then threw the second knife to the second board also getting it in the middle following with the third knife but missing the middle by an inch.

"My specialty" She winked at me. I watched everyone's face look at her in awe. "Not bad, next person" I looked at her holding eye contact causing her to blush

It finally hit 10pm meaning I could go home. I made my way down to the interrogation area of our base to go see Gabriel

He walked out of a room with blood covered on him pissed as hell. "Fucking snipers" He whisper yelled coming up to me "What happened?" I questioned concerned. "They sent another spy, but he got caught before he could really do anything major" He groaned

"Let's talk more when we get home." I walked away with him following behind

Iris's POV
I heard a car pull up to the drive way making me curious on who could be coming home at 10:30 at night? But I remembered Gabriel and Rowan still weren't home yet, so I checked my window and watched them get out the car admiring them from a far.

I walked down stairs so I could get a better glimpse of them but before I could I ran into Charlie "Oh hey whatcha doin?" "Oh just going to get a snack" I smiled at her "Me toooo! I'll come with you" She ran down the stairs with me following behind her
