She stood up on shaky legs and watched as Bret got to his feet. He paused to cup her face in his hands and kiss her again with increasing passion. Heat flooded her and she was suddenly desperate to get to the bedroom with him. Taking his hand she pulled him towards the house. Bret laughed at her enthusiasm but followed her willingly up the stairs to their bedroom. Davey's door was closed and Bret knew his brother-in-law was a heavy sleeper. He kicked their door shut behind him and pulled Rain close again, sliding his hands under her dress and resting them over the soft satin of her panties. She kissed him eagerly and then took a couple of steps back.

"What are you wearing under that dress?" Bret asked, huskily. Rain smiled teasingly.

"Would you like me to take it off and show you?" she asked. He nodded wordlessly and keeping her eyes fixed on his she began to slowly lift her dress over her head to reveal an emerald green satin bra and panties set. Bret licked his lips and then walked around her, admiring her without actually touching her. She held herself steady, trying not to squirm at his scrutiny.

"This new?" Bret asked. She nodded.

"I thought you'd like it," she replied.

"Oh I do," he growled. "It's almost a shame it'll have to come off."

She giggled but then he pulled her up against him, his hands moving over the cool satin as he caressed her. His touch ignited her and her head rolled back as he brought his lips to her throat. When his hands moved away he heard a small whimper come from her, but then she watched as he undressed quickly before gently tugging her onto the bed where he lay beside her and continued caressing and kissing her. Her own hands moved over his body, enjoying the feel of his solid flesh beneath her fingers.

"I love you," she murmured, as he put her on her back and climbed astride her. Looking up into his eyes she leaned up to kiss him again. He slid her panties down and then moved between her legs. She moaned softly and then sighed with contentment as he made love to her, gently. Sometimes it was good to just be tender she thought, enjoying the feeling of them being one. Afterwards he stayed on top of her, his weight pinning her to the bed while she stroked his hair and kissed him all over his face.

"I'm sorry I've been such an ass about Taker," he said, as he climbed off of her and flopped onto his back beside her. She propped herself up on her elbow and looked at him, running her finger along his chest idly.

"It's ok. I kinda like you being all protective," she admitted. "But I don't want to be responsible for you two falling out. I know you're close."

Bret shrugged and sighed.

"We won't fall out. Me and Taker is nothing like me and Shawn. With Shawn I think there was always a bit of resentment on both sides. I've never had any beef with Taker up until he upset you." He paused and looked across at her.  "Just the thought of anyone hurting you Rain... I couldn't bear it. I'd fight the world if it would keep you safe."

She smiled and leaned across to kiss him.

"I know you would," she said, softly and as he pulled her to him, she settled content in his arms feeling loved and protected.

Stu surveyed the group of men sat around the ring who were all looking up at him with complete awe. When he found out his son was doing a few sessions with the new luchadores about selling in the ring he'd been flattered to be asked to lend a hand. He couldn't advise them on their unique wrestling style but selling was something he could advise on.

"Your job is always to make your opponent look good," he said. "If your opponent doesn't look good, you're not doing the job properly. If anyone gets hurt you're not doing the job properly. In your head the two most pressing thoughts should be, are we entertaining the audience and are we keeping each other safe? Bret, in all the years he's been wrestling, has never hurt anyone." Bret felt a flush of pride at his dad's words and nodded.
