Eva gave an indignant cry as she was passed from her mother's hip to her shoulder and Rain smiled down at her reassuringly before turning back to the delivery man.

"No, I need that to be through there please." The man grinned and wheeled the bookcase through to Eva's playroom. Bret would have a fit when he saw it was another piece of flat packed furniture but it was such a lovely shade of pink and would match in with the fairies and unicorns theme she wanted the playroom to have. She jostled her six month old baby on her hip again and Eva giggled. They had delayed moving into their own house with Rain being so poorly as they needed support from Helen and Stu, but she was back to normal now. Eva was a contented baby; she slept right through the night as long as they didn't put her down for too long during the day and would take a bottle from just about anyone. Her eyes seemed to have settled to a bluey green colour and she still had a shock of dark hair, though it was more brown than black now like her Daddy. She was a happy baby and once she'd learnt how to giggle made them both laugh with how often she would try the noise out. It seemed every morning they woke to the sound of her giggling and chattering in her cot and Rain loved it.

Bret came in at that moment and observed the delivery man on his way out the door. He raised an eyebrow at Rain.

"Do I even want to know?" he asked. The beauty of staying longer with Helen and Stu was that Bret and his brothers had managed to get most of the house ready for them to move into. Bedrooms, the kitchen and the living area were all fully set up, as well as Bret's gym. The pool had been cleaned and was ready for use and they'd even sorted out the summer house which Bret had installed an outside shower in for when they used the pool. The playroom was decorated but hadn't had much furniture in it as Rain had struggled to find what she wanted.

"Um , it's just a bookcase," Rain said. Bret raised an eyebrow.

"Please tell me it's ready built," he said. She avoided his gaze and he rolled his eyes.

"But when you see it you'll know why I had to get it," she said. Bret watched as the delivery man came back in with another enormous parcel and Rain directed him to the playroom again.

"That one isn't flat packed. It's a toy chest and it's got her name carved on it," Rain said. Eva suddenly noticed her father and reached her arms towards him. Bret took her and held her out in front of him.

"It's a good job you and Mommy are so cute or I'd have to sort you both out," he said, pulling her to him and kissing the top of her head. Eva giggled and kicked her legs.

"It's been a while since you sorted me out," said Rain, but before he could respond she had disappeared into the playroom, chatting to the delivery man. As soon as they were alone, Bret set their daughter on her play mat in the nursery and surveyed the latest additions. Rain placed a basket of toys beside Eva and then gasped when Bret pulled her into his side and slipped his hand over her ass.

"You want sorting out?" he whispered in her ear. "Tonight is the night. As soon as Eva is asleep you are all mine young lady."

And he turned her to face him, leaning in and kissing her lips with more than a little passion. When he released her Rain was a little breathless; it had been a while since Bret kissed her like that and his words lit a fire in her. Fully aware of the effect he had had on her, Bret chuckled and then went to unwrap the bookcase. He took the instructions from an envelope attached to the box and groaned.

"This is in like twelve million pieces!" he complained. "And these instructions are complete nonsense."

"Just as well that I have Diana coming over this afternoon with Davey then to help us out with it," she replied and he brightened a little.
