Two Months Too Long

~Chapter 3~ Lucas Pov

     Y/n swims off, leaving me to find more things. Out of the corner of my eye, I see something shimmer. I swim over to it and pick it up. It is silver and long, and it looked like a thin fish with its mouth open. I'm about to put it with the things Y/n and I found earlier, but I see something else sparkle. I pick up the see through item and look through it, and discover another human object. I swim through some rocks and when I get to it, I swim all around it. It looked like a sea flower on top, but the bottom had a circle.

     As I was looking at it, I sense something behind me. I look over my shoulder and see what seemed to be a land monster. I scream and swim away as fast I can. As I'm swimming, I hit my face on a rock, but I was still conscious. I swam into a small cave, realizing I had trapped myself.

     As the land monster got closer, my breathing got faster. I looked away and closed my eyes, expecting the worst, when I hear it say, "Boo."

     "Huh?" Was the land monster not going to kill me?

    "It's fine. I'm not human." He says as he takes off his helmet.

     "Oh! Thank goodness!" I say, relieved.

     "Here, hold this." He says as he throws a spear at me. I yelp and swim under it, then take the object very cautiously.

     "Uh... Do you live around here?" I ask as he swims around.

     "Nope. Just came for my stuff. Oh!" He says as he picks up my cane.

     "H-Hey, that's mine!" I say as I follow him, but he goes higher, and higher, and higher...
