When the sun rose Sam and Cas hadn't returned to the room. She was glad as she was still laying naked in the bed next to Dean. She wrapped one of the blankets around her bare shoulders and walked to the bathroom where she dropped it to the floor and stepped into the shower. She closed her eyes and let the water cover her. Her mind flashed back to the angels and the knife on her check and she winced in remembrance. But then her mind flashed to Dean's lips on her body. He lingered on her despite the water and she smiled, with her eyes still closed. Suddenly, she felt him step in behind her and he kissed her neck as before leaning forward and splashing the falling water on his face. It ran down his body in streams that traced the outline of his muscular form. Emma noted the bruises on his abdomen and sides that he hadn't let Cas heal. His hands still bore scars from when he had fought the angels to save her. She lifted his hand and gently kissed his fingers. He leaned forward clasping her body in his arms and pulling her towards him before kissing her deeply. The water ran down his strong face and his green eyes mapped her body. He grabbed her hips and spun her around so that he was behind her. He placed his hands in her hair and softly washed it for her. She moaned softly as he pulled it back slightly and he hummed with satisfaction as she did. After showering they both got dressed and Dean glanced down at the metal bracelet still clasped to Emma's wrist. It continued to bite at her skin slightly and she touched it nervously as he examined it. "We need to find out if Cas can get that off." He said, his voice deep and concerned. "Want to get some breakfast princess?" He grinned and Emma smiled at the name he liked to call her.
"Sure." He grabbed the keys and they stepped into the morning. The Impala shone in the sun and Dean smiled as he opened the passenger side for Emma. "Sam texted he said to meet him and Cas at the diner." He told her. She nodded as the engine turned over. Dean placed one hand on the steering wheel and one hand behind Emma's neck gently playing with her hair and caressing her neck. She closed her eyes and rolled down the window just enough to feel the breeze. When they pulled up the dinner Sam and Cass were already seated inside. They glanced at Emma and Dean from the window both as they entered. Emma slid into the booth next to Sam and Dean sat next to Cass. Sam smiled at her and shot Dean a strange look like he knew what had happened between them. Dean ordered eggs and bacon from the waitress who tried to no avail to flirt with him. "You two look tired." Mused Cass. "Didn't sleep well?"
"Something like that." Answered Dean with a grin. Emma blushed and Sam glanced down at her in an uncomfortable manner.
"Okay" he said. "We know the angels will most likely recuperate their forces and come back for Emma again." Emma saw Dean's hands ball into fists on the table. "And." Sam continued. "We know that the demons are looking for her too." Castiel's voice broke in. "We need to get the weapon before they do, which means we need to track down Emma's mother and get it from her." To everyone's surprise Emma cut him off. "She may not even want to give it to you." She snapped at the angel without meaning to. "What will you do then?" She asked, "take it from her?" "No one is taking anything from anyone." Sam said. "We will explain the situation to her." He looked down at Emma who was nervously pushing her breakfast around on her plate. "Emma, if you have any idea where she might be..." Emma looked up at him and studied his face for a moment. "She has a house in Missouri." Emma said quietly. Cass sighed "Finally." He said. Emma glared at him. "I don't know if she'll be there, but it's a good possibility that she went there to hide." Dean spoke. "I guess we have some driving to do!" Emma swallowed hard. "Wait." Her voice was high and full of anxiety. "There's something that you need to know." The table was quiet. Emma struggled to speak. Suddenly the waitress returned to the table and opened her mouth to speak with an eager look on her face. Dean cut her off. "Go" he told her, holding up his hand. She stepped back clearly offended and strode away. Sam gave Dean a disapproving look which he ignored. "Go ahead Emma." He said in a gentle voice. Emma took a breath and fought for the words. "My mother." She paused. "My mother isn't exactly what you would think." "She is part human and part demon as you know, it's just, the demon part might be a little more than the human part..." her voice trailed off.
