Chapter 5

Taehyung: "You started smoking again?!"
V startled when his brother snatched away that cancer stick, throwing it somewhere.

V: "So what?! I can do whatever I want!"
Taehyung glared at his brother.

Taehyung: "Why do you hate her so much? Look, let's not fight, hm?"
He said softly this time. No matter what his brother smokes only when he's feeling the worst.

And Taehyung knew what made his brother feel like a shit.

V teared up.
"Fight? I'm not the one who's fighting! It's you! You abandoned me for that girl!"

Taehyung inhaled sharply.
"I didn't abandone you! It's all in your head. I apologized yesterday yet you're so stubborn"

V looked away, scoffing. Taehyung sighed out heavily. He cupped his cheeks turning his head towards him.

Taehyung: "You want to stay angry with me? Fine. But I'm not leaving you alone. I'm sorry? Please forgive your brother.."
V couldn't help but hug his brother tightly, crying on his shoulder.

V: "I-I felt so bad, w-when you ignored me, shouted at me. I h-hate them"
He buried his nose, sobbing out. Taehyung smiled caressing his hair.

Taehyung: "I know. I'm sorry, you forgive me?"

V: "Hm.. I'm sorry too"
He said, pulling out. Taehyung wiped away his tears.

Taehyung: "So are we good?"

V: "Best."
He muttered with a soft smile.

They were sitting in the class, even though V's mood was still sour to see Y/n there, he managed it for his brother. They didn't talk with each other except for Y/n smiling at him.

V always felt odd as to why she would smile like a stupid girl all the time.

Y/n: "I actually brought lunch from home, please you guys will taste right?"
V rolled his eyes when Taehyung nodded his head in excitement.

She pulled out her lunch box. Since it was lunch break there was no one in the class. Taehyung took a bite only to sigh in satisfaction.

Taehyung: "I'm so upset."
Her smile dropped.

Taehyung: "Because it's very less!"
He huffed. Y/n chuckled.

Y/n: "You scared me. Please take a bite, V"
She looked at him, who coldly glared back at her, it was quite of intimidating that made Y/n look away.

Taehyung: "Go ahead, V"
He whispered. V sighed before taking a bite.

Y/n didn't expect any response and she didn't even ask anything herself. The times when Taehyung would smile, V would just glare and curse at Y/n. His brother don't interact with him anymore like before.

And since it was only his brother as everything to him, he craved for his attention all the time.

V: "Are you guys dating?"
He blurted out, interrupting their talks.

Taehyung: "Shut up"
He muttered underneath his breath.

V: "Just asking. Because she does nothing but sticking to you"
He chuckled mockingly. Taehyung sighed, he had no words. Y/n looked down, before standing up.

Y/n: "I'll come back soon."

Taehyung: "Where are you going?"
He stood up worriedly. Y/n glanced at him and smiled.

Y/n: "Jus--"

V: "Go and no need to come back. You're just meddling in between us.."
He scoffed.

Taehyung: "V! Mind your language--"
