Chapter 10

V, with a worried face on, reached Y/n's house. He knocked on the door and Taehyung opened it for him.

V: "How's she?"
Taehyung sighed.

Taehyung: "She straight away went to sleep. She was so exhausted."
V nodded with his pursed lips.

Taehyung: "If only- If only I wouldn't have been a pushover.."
He teared up. V hugged his brother. Taehyung started crying on his shoulder.

V: "It's not your fault, Tae. It's mine.."
I whispered the last two words, and Taehyung was so into crying that he didn't notice.

V: "Stop crying. Do you want her to get more upset?"
Taehyung shook his head. V smiled softly and wiped his tears away.

V: "Can I go see her?"
Taehyung nodded.

V walked towards her room, peeking inside he sighed sadly. V sat beside her and hesitantly held her hand.

V: "You made me scared. But hey! Don't worry, they'll have to payback for every tear you've shed"
He gritted his teeth, and caressed her forehead, the other moment his gaze softened.

V: "I won't forgive them, because they did it the second time as well."
He whispered before slowly pecking her hand.

A small smile on his lips. Oh how he wished to kiss her forehead, but he didn't.
Staring at her for some while, he left the room speechlessly.

Taehyung: "Where are you going?"
Taehyung asked when V straight away went towards the main door.

V: "To find those fuckers!"

Taehyung: "V No! For now, Y/n needs you and- and me too. I won't be able to handle her without crying myself, please?"
Taehyung pleaded, his eyes teary. At that moment, V also realised, how much Taehyung was actually attached to her.

His heart softened. He went forward and hugged Taehyung. Taehyung hugged him back tighter.

Taehyung: "I love her so much, I-I can't help.."
He whispered.

V: "I know, I know. I'm here right? You're not alone in this. And she will get up soon, yeah?"
Taehyung nodded in despair.

Time Skip

V was on the couch in front of y/n's bed while Taehyung was sleeping on V's lap; after getting exhausted by the long crying session, he went to sleep.

V was caressing his brother's hairs and was thinking about those bullies, the single thought makes him go crazy and wanting to kill them in a brutal way. Soon he noticed Y/n stirring awake. His eyes lit up.

He took Taehyung's head and softly placed it on the couch making him comfortable. He went near y/n who was slowly opening her eyes.

V smiled and made her sit comfortably, she startled at his touch only for him to frown. She rested her upper body leaning towards the headboard.

"Do you need water? Are you hungry? Do you nee--"

"Calm down V, I just need water.."
She said timidly, her throat was drying up. V nodded and handed her the glass of water, who took it and gulped the water in one go only to cough.

V panicked but before he could do anything; Taehyung came towards her patting her back in soothing manner. Y/n tried to smile, but broke down into more coughs. Finally when she stopped coughing she looked up at Taehyung.

Her smile dropped noticing tears in his eyes.

"Why are you crying tae?"
She asked softly.

"I wasn't able to he--"
