As everyone collided and a massive fight erupted, Brian's ghost catcher activated properly for the first time, effortlessly sucking in Vultur, Urs, Peşte, and Râsul's mounts and containing them, forcing them to continue on foot.....much to the Generals' annoyance.
Vultur growled with disdain. "Someone destroy that infernal machine!" she ordered, as legions of C.L.A.W shamans descended equally over Nightclaw's forces and Brian's gadget.
One would think that a simple box laying idle in a patch of overgrown grass would be a relatively easy target, but Vultur's forces had an incredibly difficult time even touching it. Though Valeria's pickup truck was forced to remain idle due to it being the device's power source, the countess did a remarkable job of protecting it, shooting down its attackers from a distance with the truck's Marlin-model lever-action rifle and weed-whacking anyone who came within spitting distance of her.
Brian and Esther, meanwhile, were free to completely rampage all around the battlefield in their respective cars, while Nightclaw, Lily, and Theo began fighting the C.L.A.W shamans with their respective weapons, powers, and strengths.

Brian blindsided four C.L.A.W shamans who were attempting to group up for an attack on Nightclaw, absolutely bowling through them as if they were a set of pins and he was the ball. Remarkably, they almost pulled themselves back to their feet, forcing the boy to deliver four quick Viper poison darts to their necks to finish them off non-lethally. He watched as they convulsed, foamed at the mouth, and generally experienced symptoms greatly similar to a seizure before finally falling unconscious.
"Haha! Even when The Viper's out.....she's in," Brian boasted as he blew the smoke off the firearm's barrel.
Unfortunately, he turned back around to be met with the sight of a tree.....one that was approaching him at high speed due to him taking his eyes off his front windshield.
"WHOA!"
He just barely managed to swerve out of the way, with one of the tree's lowest branches still lightly scratching the hull of his car.
Brian shrugged. "Meh. It's a rental, anyways."
Suddenly, Esther also pulled up in the Rosenbloods' rental car, with the scientist rolling down the driver's side window and waving cheerfully at the young boy.
"Hello there!" Esther said in an overly casual manner despite the fight raging around them. He then showed his own handgun, which was filled with anesthetic darts. "Mind helping me test a theory?"
"Right now?!"
"Just trust me!"
"What is it?!"
"See that shaman we're about to roll up on?!" Esther called, pointing to their target. "We're going to split off, drive on either side of them, and shoot our darts into his neck at the same time! Then I'm going to see what happens and document it!"
"Huh?!"
"Come on, just do it!"
Brian rolled his eyes. "I hope you know what you're doing!"
As the two vehicles closed in on the hapless minion, Brian and Esther diverted; Brian swerved left, while Esther swerved right. Timing their shots perfectly, Brian leaned out of his window and shot a Viper toxin dart into one side of the shaman's neck right when Esther leaned out of his window and shot his own tranquilizer dart into the shaman's other side. Then, both of them stopped to witness the results.
