※Sasuke POV※

I stare blankly at Naruto while he continues talking, but his voice slowly drains out with the rest of the crowd until I'm surrounded by silence. My chest tightens, my heart drops, and my throat closes. I make it sound dramatic, but the conclusions my head leads to make it seem like nothing is fine right now.

I don't know what suddenly got into me. I feel myself growing more and more worried, just like the two before me.

Before Hinata or Naruto could question me, I plunge through students without any words for them. I didn't even pay any mind to Hime who looked cheerful until she saw my expression. I'm not sure what I look like, but whatever it was, it was enough to scare her off. Two steps at a time, I walk up the stairs.

Where is she?

I look in the first room to my left, bursting in to find no one there. Not here.

I slam through the next door and into a girl's bedroom. Without even thinking about 'privacy' and 'invasion', I search the room to find the one person I'm looking for. Closet, under the bed, under the covers—nowhere.

I bolt across the hallway and into another bedroom, following the same pursuit in the room before, looking everywhere.

Not here either.

Panic pumps through my veins as I keep searching. My heart beats harder when each place I knock off my checklist ends with the same result: she's not there. Each room I open, even if I know it's not that room, I still check. I need to assure myself that she's not in any of them, not in a place I least expect.

Dammit!

I reach the end of the hall, the last door standing tall as if to intimidate me. My heart pounds harder than ever. I prepare myself as I turn the knob, expecting the worst. When I open the door, I notice the room is slightly dimmer than the rest of the house. I can't see much, but I see enough to notice two figures. With the distant sounds of the party seeming much quieter, it's easy to hear what sounds like whimpering. Then, another voice.

"Come on," he slurs. "Loosen up~"

My hand slides against the wall to try and find the light dimmer. Once I find it and turn it up all the way, the worst I was preparing for was nothing like what I see right now. It's a sight straight out of anyone's nightmares. There, on the bed, a guy lays on top of a familiar-looking girl—

(Y/n).

My mind races, connecting the dots before I finally realize what's happening. I don't hesitate to pull off the dude with an aggressive force.

I throw him up against the wall, one arm across his throat while the other hits the wall next to him. Those aren't the threats that scare him—it's the way I glare at him. An Uchiha's deadly weapon.

The fucking idiot he is, smirks as if this is the reaction he wanted to get out of me. His blue eyes gleam with amusement. "Hey, now. Don't you think it's a little rude to invade someone's privacy?"

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" I snap, not answering his previous question.

The guy raises his free hands above his head in 'surrender'. "Having some fun, bro. Can't a man satisfy that?"

I narrow my eyes more than what they were already, and that was enough to make this imbecile shudder under me. "You better watch what you do," I say in a deep, threatening voice. "Especially around me."

Keeping up his façade even though he's clearly frightened, he demands, "Why? What are you gonna do?"

"I'm not going to do anything right now," I reply, pushing up against him just to make sure it's only me he's looking at. "I don't want to disturb anyone at the party. I don't want to draw any attention to this. But that doesn't mean you're off the hook for good."
