Boxing School

Chapter 1

***Wednesday***

Hi my name is Adalyn Hunt. I had decided that I'm going to be leaving to go to boxing school tomorrow. It's called "Typanga Academy." It's kind of like college, they have dorms to stay in but in this school you can pick if you want a roommate or not. The roommate has to be of your gender though, they don't want any mixing. Mind you i did pick to have a roommate i don't want to be alone but I had mine picked at random! I'm actually excited for this school, my parents told me they would help me pay for it, it's super cheap, only $25 a month for only a year, that is each year you go there of course! I can't wait for tomorrow to get here.

***Thursday***

The day is finally here! I'm officially getting into my car, a jeep, to go to boxing school. This is AMAZING. The drive is about 3 hours long, which I drive with my mind wandering everywhere. I arrive in what seemed like an hour. When I pull up I see a big black gate, man I didn't know it was gated like this, I hope it doesn't feel like prison. I see a speaker and pull up to it.

"Can I help you with something?", I hear from the speaker

"I'm supposed to come & start school here today my name is Adalyn Hunt", I say calmly and wait for my response.

"Ah, yes we've been expecting you, I'm going to open the gate please follow the drive & park whatever you drive in you're assigned parking space, it will have your name on the cement, well give you a code to get in & out in your welcome packet, also, don't worry about your luggage, well send someone out to get it," I hear the reply through the speaker as the gate opens. I slowly drive in, just to make sure I don't miss my spot our names are painted on the concrete. I pull into my spot carefully & look around I'd say there are about 20-25 cars parked in here, I'm sure some people are just out doing whatever too.

I get out of my car not caring about the luggage in the back because the said they'll come out & get it. I slowly walk up the sidewalk & to the front door.

I don't feel the need to knock so I just push the door open. I walk into a grand entrance with a chandelier & everything. I see a sign that says office & has an arrows pointing right, so naturally I follow it. I walk up to the receptionist who is a gorgeous guy.

"Can I help you?", he says, same voice as the speaker.

"Hi I'm Adalyn Hunt, we just talked over the speaker", I reply.

"Ah, yes, please have a seat, & I'll go retrieve your welcome packet. Then I'll show you to your dorm," he says as he goes into the hallway behind the desk & I have a seat in the comfy chair he pointed at. He returned a short minute later & I stand up. He doesn't even say anything just walks out of the office & starts leading me to what I hope is the dorms. There wasn't certain boy or girls dorms buildings & they weren't strict on whether guys came into girls rooms or not. We walked outside of what seemed to be the main building & down the sidewalk just a little bit & were soon in front of what I'm hoping is the dorm building.

He quickly types in a code & mumbles, "You'll find all the codes in your welcome packet" & then he continues on walking, we are in a box shaped room, the only thing on it is an elevator off to the right side of the wall in front of me & a staircase on the left side of the wall in front of me. We take the elevator, of course, no one wants to take the stairs, lazy people. I see he pushed button number 6, the highest number to push.

He quickly explains, "1 means the 100 floor, 2 means the 200 floor, so on & so forth. Since you're in dorm number 602 you're on floor number 6, simple. The only thing in this building is the dorms, once you receive your welcome packet you'll be on your own, but I won't give you that till were done with the tour so your not complete alone. Now don't worry your dorm has 2 bedrooms since you picked a roommate."
