Chapter 8

***Sometime later***

We pulled up to the "mall" and let me tell you, it didn't let me down. Jace pulled into a parking space and quickly got out running around to my side to open the door before I could even unbuckle my seat belt. I just smiled at him and let it happen, it was weird. I've never had a guy open my door for me. I got out and we started walking to the mall entrance. It had a lot of stores that I have never heard of before, then again this is a bit far away from home for me.

As we got to the doors, he opened it for me and said, "After you"

I mumbled a thank you and walked inside.

***Little while later***

We just wandered around for a while, my feet were starting to hurt. Of course, me being stubborn I didn't end up getting anything, except a perfume. I didn't even want it though, I said it smelled good and that I liked it and Jace bought it while I ran to the bathroom.

"Are you ready to go?", he asked me as he looked at me, with his gorgeous smile.

"Yes I am, my feet hurt", I said as I smiled at him, I find myself smiling at him a lot and I like it.

"So, are you going to the party tonight night?", he asked me as we reached the exit and he once again opened the door for me.

"I didn't even know there was a party going on, who is throwing it?", I asked as we got to the car and started to drive back to the school

"Nikki Reed, she's throwing it in the café. It's supposed to be a club/prom kind of party. Since the café serves alcohol to anyone 21 and over, it works", he said as he shrugged.

Nikki Reed is one of the most popular girls at the school. She was stunning, her long black hair always in a high ponytail and don't forget all her designer clothes. Even her work out clothes were designer. She had a muscular build but it wasn't to the point where you could tell she was super muscular. She had really bright green eyes, almost looking unnatural. Spence told me all about her, I think it's because Spencer is jealous of her. I don't understand why, Spencer was beautiful. She had long black hair down to her butt and a hourglass figure. She also had a perfect little nose and the brightest blue eyes.

"Nikki Reed? Hmm, shes in our English class isn't she?", I asked as he nodded and pulled into the school. He typed his code into the keypad and we drove right through. He parked in his spot.

"I don't know Ill think about it", I say as we get out of the car and start walking towards the school.

Jace ran to catch up with me, "Okay well just let me know, I'm going to go hit the shower, see ya Addy."

He bowed jokingly and ran away from me. I couldn't help but laugh as i shook my head and walked to my dorm.

When i made it back to my dorm, I quickly went inside and seen spence leaning on the counter in the kitchen, drinking a pop, laughing at someone I cant see. I walk into the kitchen and grab a water from the fridge.

"Hey Spence, who's this?", i ask as i open my water and take a drink, motioning to the girl sitting at our table as i stood in front of the fridge on the opposite side of the room from them.

"Hey Addy! This is Nikki Reed, she's in my Science class and we got paired for a project", said Spence as she looked at me with a smile, "She was also just telling me about how she's throwing a party tonight and we are both invited!"

Nikki nodded her head, "Hello, so you're the one Spencer has been telling me about? You're much prettier in than described"

"Umm, thank you?", i asked as i took another drink, i wasn't sure how i should take that honestly, am i being described as ugly or something? Don't get me wrong, i'm not the prettiest but im not ugly either.
