Boxing School

Chapter 7

***Addy's Pov: Saturday 9am***

I woke up, rubbing my eyes, trying to get the sleep out of them. I looked around the room, the sun was shining in through the window and there was a warm body pressed against my back. I thought back to the night before, Jace and I were watching movies, I must have fallen asleep.

I started to stir around and got out of his bed quietly, needing to pee. I grabbed my phone from the nightstand and my shoes from the floor by the bed. I crept to the door, not making a noise and slipped out. I quickly went to the bathroom and then left Jace's dorm. I entered my dorm quietly too, I didn't want to wake Spence up. I got to my room where I put my shoes in my closet and grabbed some clothes ready to take a shower. I decided on wearing a teal baggy t-shirt with grey jogger shorts. It's the weekend so I'm not trying to dress up.

I quickly took a shower and then decided on going to get breakfast from the café. I grabbed my flipflops from the closet and slipped them on, leaving my hair down. I did brush my hair but it still had waves to it as it dried a little bit.

 I grabbed my phone off my bed where I threw it.

I made it to the café quickly, where I see a familiar face, Tyler Sharp. I ordered my food and he waved me over to his table and motioned for me to sit down.

"Hey, how was your first day yesterday?", he asked as he took a bite of his food. He was eating what looked like scrambled eggs with bacon and toast.

"It was pretty good, I managed to not get lost", I said as I laughed and took a bit of my egg sandwich. Yes, this is exactly what I wanted to eat.

"That's good, I wasn't here yesterday so I wouldn't have been able to save you. I went home yesterday to visit my mom and dad", he said as he chuckled and took another bite.

"That's cool, I live like three hours away so I just hung out with Spencer, my roommate. She showed me the ropes at boxing lessons", I said as I smiled taking a drink of my milk. Yes, it was white milk, and yes, I am one of those people.

"I feel like I've heard of her. Is she dating that Logan Andrews guy from the front desk?", he said as he took a drink of his apple juice.

"Yes, she's super cool I can definitely tell we are going to be best friends. He's okay, I haven't really hung out with him", I said as I finished my breakfast. I felt like someone was staring at me, I look around and see, Jace looking right at me across the room and boy did he look pissed.

"Yeah, I don't know either of them personally", Tyler was saying as I looked at him again, as he took the last bite of his food.

"I guess I don't have much of a choice but get to know Spencer since she is my roommate. But hey, I'm gonna head back to my dorm, I need to work on that English essay we have", I said as I got up, "I'll see you later"

"Yeah for sure", Tyler said as he smiled. I made it out of the elevator right in front of my dorm when I hear a voice behind me.

"Of all people you could have eaten breakfast with you picked him?", I heard from behind me. I already knew who it was before I even turned around.

Hey, I cant help it that someone else was a sleepy head and didn't come to eat breakfast with me", I said as I giggled and turned around to face him. He was wearing black jogger pants, a white hoodie and black slides.

"Hey, you could have woke me up. But no instead someone left me to wake up all by myself", he said as he looked at me with crossed arms.

"I don't like to wake people up, or to bother people like that", I said as I shivered.

"Here", he said as he took off his hoodie and handed it to me. I shook my head no but he insisted as he held out his arm with the hoodie in it, "Quit being stubborn and take it"

I gently took it, "Thank you"

"Next time you should really come prepared", he said as he laughed, "Well do you have any plans today?"

"No, I was just going to lay in bed and order take out. I'm using today as a lazy day", I said as I hugged my arms to my body, breathing in, loving the smell of his hoodie.

"Well, I was wondering if maybe you wanted to go shopping at the mall with me, I'll pay for everything and I'll buy you lunch", Jace said as he rubbed the back of his neck with his hand. Who am I to turn down a free lunch and shopping?

"I have my own money but sure, I'd like that. It'll be nice to see some of the town since im not from around here", I said as I smiled up at him, "I just need to grab my purse from my dorm quick"

I turned to my left and entered my dorm, motioning for him to come in, "You can come in"

He smirked at me but came in anyways. I kept walking till I made it to my room, which is in the back right hand side of my living room. Its hard to miss with the big A on it. I went into my closet and grabbed my black cross body purse and put it on, going back out to jace who was sitting on my desk chair looking at his phone.

"Are you ready?", I asked him as he looked up from his phone. He nodded his head and we left my dorm and made it out to the parking lot. We walked up to a black Audi r8 when Jace stopped. He went to the passenger side door and opened it up, motioning for me to get in.

"Oh wow, um, thank you. I've never had someone open the car door for me", I said sheepishly as I smiled.

"You better get used to it because when I'm around, you wont be opening any doors for yourself. Now are you ready to be amazed by this mall?", he questioned as he got into the car and turned to me, smirking.

"Oh, I'm beyond ready", I said as I giggled, and Jace started to head toward the "mall".
