Prologue: The Psycho Path

Angel Grove, Modern Day

Angel Grove. A city that isn't like many others. While the citizens there are mostly normal. The buildings and landscape are as traditional as they come (minus a strange amount of Japanese mountains on the city's outskirts). But one thing that sets this city apart from anywhere in the world aside from the very apparent obsession of karate is the Power Rangers.

Not too long ago, an earthquake struck the city. It signaled the arrival of an ancient evil, one locked away for thousands of years. That evil was Rita Repulsa. A witch from a planet far away. She seeked to wreak havoc across the planet, starting with Angel Grove. But when all hope was lost, five teens rose to the occasion. An ancient alien known as Zordon gave morphers to the five teenagers with attitude and formed the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers!

Together the team managed to stop everything Rita threw at them. From rapping pumpkins to giant armored gorillas with wings, the Rangers have basically seen it all. Their most recent major victory however was the recruitment of the 6th Ranger, Tommy Oliver. Tommy was once controlled by Rita as her personal weapon against the Rangers. But thanks to some tricks and the skill of the Rangers, they managed to break him free. Now he's joined them in their crusade against the evil forces of Rita Repulsa.

At Ernie's Juice Bar, the usual meet up spot for all of the teens, Zack Taylor (the Black Ranger) and Trini Kwan (the Yellow Ranger) were debating on something.

Trini: I feel like I don't even know you anymore! I don't know if I can be friends with someone who likes pineapple on his pizza.

Zack: You need to hear me out! The reason why most people don't like it is because most pizza places just slap cold pineapple on top of the cooked pizza! It needs to be cooked with the pizza.

 Trini was unconvinced. Suddenly, Billy Cranston (the Blue Ranger) joined the two at their table.

Billy: What are you guys talking about?

 Trini: Billy. Does pineapple belong on pizza?

 He thought about it for a second.

Billy: Well I couldn't say much. I don't eat a lot of pizza. Sorry.

Before Zack could start berating him about it Jason Lee Scott (the Red Ranger) walked up to the group. 

Jason: Don't worry Billy. We all have different tastes. Though I agree with Trini. Pineapple on pizza is not good. 

Zack just sighed.

Zack: Anyways, Jason are you up for some sparring later?

Jason: Sorry, I already promised Tommy we would do some later.

Trini: By the way, aren't Kim and him at the movies right now?

 Jason nodded.

Jason: I'm glad he's getting along with Kim. I can imagine being Rita's puppet could be really straining on the mind.

Meanwhile, on the moon lies the castle, that of which belongs to the evil Rita Rupulsa. Today was a slow day, she was tired and fed up with the Ranger's constantly beating all of her monsters.

Rita: Finster!

The small groveling creature arrived. 

Finster: Yes my queen?

She looked onto him with annoyance. 

Rita: I'm tired of your creations being destroyed by the Rangers! I need something to eliminate them once and for all!

A devilish idea came upon the small creature. 

Finster: If you want to beat the Rangers,

 He looked out the window into the emptiness of the moon's surface.
