Progress

I send the format to Astrid of my works she just need to tell me anything she wants to change about the format pero sabi niya okay na sya sa plano ko. The works I have for Astrid is my progress now para makabalik ako sa pagmamahal ko sa trabaho ko. The whole day I was just in my room. Checking the emails. Wala namang dumating pang-iba kaya nag cellphone muna ako pero nakatanggap ako ng message from Astrid. I immediately read it.

From Astrid:

Hi babe, Lirah. How are you? I hope you are doing well. Just want you to know that you'll be also working with one of the engineers of the partner of Soron Paradise Hotel. I'm sorry I had told you late about this. I forgot to tell you also. Sorry. I can introduce you to him some other time. Don't worry he's a good person. "Yes, babe. I did read it. It's okay. It's not a problem at all. Just call me or text me if we'll have dinner with the engineer you are talking to. No problem babe." sagot ko.

"Okay, babe. Thank you so much. I'll give you a call whenever everything is ready. Love you, babe." aniya.

"I love you too, babe. See you around." ako at ibinaba na ang tawag.

I went down to check Mom and Dad pero ang naabutan ko lang ay ang mga katulong. I saw Aling Kunsay cleaning the kitchen. I ask her if did Mom and Dad leave already and then she said yes.

I was holding my phone when it vibrated. It was Claire. I answered it quickly.

"Couz?" siya.

"Hmm... punta ka dito. Sige na please?" ako I heard a laugh on the line. Tinatawanan ako.

"Yeah, I'm coming. But will you be okay if... I'll bring David too?" siya. Nagulat ako sa sinabi niya pero handa ako na kumausap ng tao kagaya ng pagkikita namin ni Astrid. Kayang kaya ko ng makisalamuha sa mga tao.

"Yes of course, I missed talking to him too. We should have a chit chat too. I'll be waiting here, couz. Love you." ako at ibinaba ang tawag mula sa kanya.

I sat down in the sala in check my social media apps. Hindi ko na ito nabuksan simula ng ginawa ako ni Claire. I open the Instagram and my heart beats faster than ever.

Inalis ko ang feed sa Instagram niya dahil kung ano man ang makikita ko mas lalo lang akong iiyak. I hurt him so much. I was sorry. Kung hindi ko rin iyong ginawa alam kong hihilain ko siya pababa. Magiging dahilan payon para hindi siya makapag-graduate, Knowing Ian? Kayang kaya niya yong gawin kung alam niyang para saakin. That's what I wanted to prevent and even though I hurt him I'm glad he's living his life... cause he deserves it much. I wish him happiness dahil magiging masaya din ako para sa kanya.
