prologue

Two teenagers were walking through the hallways of their school arm in arm, one was looking at a group of people with a longing look in her gorgeous e/c eyes while her ravenette friend was watching her concerned.

"Y/n ignore them they are irrelevant, you are way better then they will ever be."

"I know Marcy but it's hard I though I had finally made some new friends, but then your sister swooped in and took them away."

"Yeah, she always does this, she's just obsessed with attention. It's so annoying and then I have to deal with her crazy fans too."

"Oh yeah you probably have it worst since everyone thinks you're trying to 'steal her away' or some stupid shit like that." Y/n says with a chuckle.

"Yeah pretty much... and we look almost identical too! We are literally twins we have the same features, plus I don't want anything to do with her..." He says his heterochromic eyes narrowing into a glare.

"Luckily in the last place we lived I didn't make any friends, I've learned after all these years of constantly moving."

"Haha, yeah I haven't exactly learned that yet it seems..." Y/n says with a hint of sadness in her tone.

"The thing that makes happy about moving is being able to stay with you since you're my only... friend..." Marcellus says his blue green eyes glinting with love which goes unnoticed by Y/n.

"Aww I knew you loved me Marcy! And to be honest you're my only real friend too." Y/n says hugging Marcellus' arm closer.

"Yeah yeah, whatever..." Marcellus mutters looking away to hide the link flush on his face.

In the distance a ravenette girl is looking at the two specifically the h/c girl with a longing look in her heterochromic eyes, ignoring the group of boys fawning over her.

The bell had rung signaling the end of class and the start of lunch. Students filled the once empty halls eagerly heading to the cafeteria. Y/n was no exception, she was walking down the halls her h/c hair flowing with each step, her e/c eyes glued to her phone playing a cute cat mobile game.

She decides to make a stop at the vending machines before heading to sit with Marcellus as a way to avoid the crowds. As she is walking down the secluded halls she hears talking, her curiosity takes over as she follows the familiar voices.

She peeks around a wall to see two groups of people, the main self proclaimed 'gangs' of the school. Who were also known as sworn enemies and her friends, well... kind of her friends. They had kinda ditched Y/n after they met her, Y/n didn't take much offense to it though because it had happened quite frequently with her friends in other schools.

She had just hoped they would eventually go back to hanging out with her and everything would be back to normal again. Although that had never happened in the past she really hoped it would happen this time.

•Pov change•

You watch as the two groups fight and it takes you a second to realize just what exactly they are fighting about. Then you hear her name, Clara, come out of their mouths and it instantly makes sense. Like usual your friends became head over heels for Clara no surprise there.

You weren't mad they liked her, you weren't mad at all. You liked how your new friends always got along with you childhood best friend, but what bothered you was how they had just stopped talking to you for the most part.

Shaking away your thoughts you continue listening.

"Leave Clara alone! She is mine and she probably hates you all anyways!" A white-haired boy says angrily.
