chapter 2

"Hello, My name is Hinata Tachibana." The girl you now know as Hinata introduces herself with a kind smile.

You finally realize why she looked familiar! She was the girlfriend of Hanagaki.

'This poor girl...' You felt sympathy for her due to the fact that her little boyfriend was also a loyal follower of Clara's.

"Hi Tachibana, my name is Y/n L/n. It's nice to meet you!" You say returning her smile.

"Oh you can just call me Hina! Also it's nice to meet you too L/n." Hina says kindly.

"Okay Hina, then you can just call me Y/n!" You say with a happy smile before standing up.

"Well where you girls want to go?" You ask with a tilt of your head.

"I heard a cat cafe opened up nearby recently! We should go there!" Emma says enthusiastically.

"Yeah totally, I love cats!" Y/n says matching Emma's enthusiasm.

Both girls kind of stop and look at Y/n, the smile Y/n was giving them was kind of... cute. Emma had seen Y/n's happiness and smiles multiple times since the two became friends and it never failed to make Emma a little flustered and make her heart skip a beat.

Hinata on the other hand had never really seen Y/n smile like this before. Yeah she had seen a little bit of when Y/n was happy at the start of the school year but she never saw much of it and that happiness seemed to fade fairly quickly, so seeing this smile now surprised Hinata and also made her a little flustered, she didn't know exactly why though.

'My face feels kinda hot, am I blushing?' Hinata thinks as she touches her cheek lightly.

"Hey are you guys okay?" Y/n asks with a slightly concerned expression. Both girls quickly shake their heads and hands no.

"Huh? Oh no no we are fine!" Emma says quickly.

"Okay, good." Y/n says giving them another smile.

Y/n, Emma, and Hina are sitting in the cat cafe enjoying their time playing with the cats before the door opens and the girls all hear two pairs of footsteps heading towards them.

"Y/n! I thought it was you I saw!" A voice that Y/n's knows a little too well says before a ravenette girl practically jumps on Y/n for a hug.

"Wha-!" Y/n exclaims shocked before realizing who it was.

"Oh it's just you Clara." Y/n says calming down from the initial shock.

"I'm here too." A more masculine voice says causing Y/n to look over at the owner of said voice despite her already knowing who it was.

"Marcy!" Y/n says happily before jumping over to Marcellus before giving him a big hug, something all three girls frown at.

"What are you two doing here?" Y/n then asks separating from the hug yet still staying close to Marcellus.

"We decided to go on a shopping day!" Clara exclaims with joy showing her shopping bags.

"We didn't decide, she forced me to." Marcellus says looking mildly annoyed at his sisters words.

"Oh come on Marcy, it wasn't that bad!" Clara protests. Marcellus rolls his eyes clearly getting fed up with his sister.

"First of all don't call me Marcy and second of all, all you did was ignore me while looking around a bunch of random stores, swatching makeup, trying perfumes, trying on clothes, then you made me pay for it all!" Marcellus says clearly starting to get more and more annoyed.

"Why can't I call you that, Y/n calls you that all the time and you don't say anything! Whatever, anyways Y/n sweetie! I got you something, it's totally matches your style and the colors would 100% compliment not only your eyes but also your complexion!" Clara says excitedly ignoring her brothers frustration before handing Y/n a small bag.

"Oh thank you Clara! I really appreciate it." Y/n says with a small smile. Clara returns her smile.

"Of course darling, just remember to send me a photo of you in it and tell me how you like it." She says with a wink.

"Yeah of course."

"Well sadly Marcellus and I have to go now since we have plans but it was wonderful seeing you! Bye bye!" Clara says with her signature charming smile before dragging her brother away.

"Bye Clara, bye Marcy!"

"See you later N/n." Marcellus says before getting completely dragged away by his sister.

Y/n then looks over to Emma and Hina who look kind of confused.

"Sorry about that, they are my childhood friends." I say apologetically.

The two say it's fine a continue on with their hangout, but do they really think it's just fine?

'It's so rude to just interrupt someone's hangout like that! She just swooped right in and took away away all of Y/n's attention. Wait, am I.. jealous? No there is no way, why would I be jealous?'

'That was the girl Takemichi is always hanging out with and the one he always talks about. Why do I feel so upset that she interrupted me hanging out with Y/n?'

The hangout was now long over and the sun was already setting. Y/n is just sitting in bed. She starts thinking about when she first transferred and became friends with everyone and how it went downhill.

She was finally here, after a very long flight and tiring weekend of unpacking and setting her room up along with helping her parents decorate the house.

The h/cnette walks into the school a little nervous since it's not only her first day of school in a new country but she also hasn't had the best track record with friends, not with making them but with keeping them.

Although that was all due to her childhood friend Clara who always managed to move to the same school as Y/n right after she would make a good amount of friends. It had always eluded Y/n on how Clara and her twin brother Marcellus always managed to move to the same area she did and then go to the same school and she did, specifically right after she would make friends.

It was a crazy coincidence and anyone Y/n would tell it to would just say she is overthinking and it's probably nothing, everyone but Marcellus. He thought his sister was up to something but never had any solid proof.

Anyways back to Y/n's first day in her new school. Some how Y/n was able to make it to her first class on time despite getting kind of lost. Honestly the only reason she was able to find her way tot her class was because of a kind boy who seemed about her age with light purple hair.

Once Y/n finds her class she walks in, and greets the teacher before asking where she should sit.

"Mr. Kurokawa please raise your hand."
