I said nothing. I held the knife firmly in my hand. Mike stared at me, I couldn't tell how he felt about his situation. He seemed speechless, like he was trying to find the words, but didn't know how to begin, and if I started questioning him, that wouldn't be a good start to conversation.

He finally continued talking, his tone gentle and he was careful of his words, "So, Y/N, that is your name right? If not I really waster my time today."

   I nodded slightly.

"I know about your friends. And what my father did. I want to help you, with whatever it is you're trying to do. It would help to know the goal of all this..." He trailed off expectantly, and chuckled nervously.

"Get vengeance on William Afton, however that must be done, and free my friends."

"How would you be able to free them?"

That was what I hadn't thought about yet. Make something up! Or just say what you know so far... Which is... "They're trapped in the robots, I figured that once we end Afton, I could work the rest out later."

"What a plan, but that does confirm what I'd discovered. I went to William to find out anything about what he did and though he didn't admit to anything, he was oddly suspicious. It doesn't seem like he meant for that to happen. The whole trapped spirit thing... I've been wondering, whatever happened to the bodies?"

"They're alive! It said they would be fine!" How dare he. If their souls are living, so are they! Surely...

   "What said that?"

"Another victim perhaps? It doesn't matter, my concern is that you must have something to do with it, Afton! Making up a new name, relations with William, for all I know, you could be behind this!"

I pointed my knife towards him, he backed away slowly, his hands by his head. I glared at him threateningly, deciding on when I should strike.

"I really do want to help," he began, desperately hoping to be heard, "but I can't do much without information!"

I yelled at him, intentions of this conversation were unclear, and I'd have to end it eventually. "I can't trust you, and now you know too much! So you can't leave alive. I don't need William Afton to be expecting me. That's why you're here, yes? Finish his job!"

"I am not my father!" His face quickly changed from terror to fury. Our eyes kept contact for a little while longer, till he breathed deeply, and leaned on his desk. "If I was anything like him I'd probably turn you in without a word."

I suppose it makes sense... But why should he want to help me? Is it to have a good reputation again? Or maybe he just wants to make up for his father's wrongs.

We sat in silence a little while longer. Both of us were speechless. I was about to apologize, but was distracted by a yellow blur in the corner of my eye. The Chica animatronic waving into the window. "Shoot!" I muttered as I walked up to the thin window. Mike shrieked when he noticed her in the dark.

"Susie..." I trailed off. Don't encourage Micheal. Just in case... "Chica! Don't tell anyone I'm here! Especially Goldie. And Freddy, okay?"

The excited voice replied quickly, "Well you got one hour till 'Goldie' attacks. Y/N, What on earth are you doing in there?! I thought you said you'd keep a low profile!"

"I wanted to hear him out." I shrugged nervously. I was running out of time. "Call off Goldie and stall the others. Got it? I'll be fine! I promise. I think he wants to help."

"Don't get in trouble Y/N" after one creepy glare at Micheal she soon left.

We spent a little more time getting to know each other. I hid under the desk to avoid the others seeing me. Though the Bonnie suit caught on eventually. Foxy occasionally reached the door but him and Freddy weren't observant enough.
