Lucky isn't like her brother Demetri at all. Where he spends his weekends playing video games all day with Eli, Lucky is out with her friends doing whatever.
Demetri and Lucky are twins with Lucky being older by 2 and a half minutes. They're fraternal and although may have different hair and eyes can look the same if you try to see it.
Lucky sometimes felt bad for how she treated him at school and public but knew that if she didnt pick on Demetri then she'd be in the same shoes as him. She didnt necessarily pick on him, she just didnt stop her friends from doing so. Atleast thats what she told herself.
Demetri was nerdy, too gobby for his own good, and he overall thought that he was better than majority of people. I guess thats something the twins had in common - they both thought they were better than others. Whereas Lucky uses this for her popularity, Demetri uses this as an excuse to be bullied. Well, he didnt use it as an excuse as to why he got bullied, but it was one of the main reasons. He just didnt know when to stop talking.
Eli is Demetris best and only friend. He and Lucky used to get along quite well untill she started to change and hang out with the rich girls. Eli never said it but he did miss Lucky, he would never tell Demetri. Eli was shy, and awkward. Lucky almost felt bad for him as the main reason he was bullied is because of a scar going from the top of his upper lip to the bottom of where his nose began. Its a surgery scar from when he had surgery for his cleft lip and it honestly wasnt even that bad. People will just look for any reason to criticise and pick people apart. Especially shy vulnerable teens like Eli who found it hard to stand up for themselves. But anyway, Lucky wouldnt allow herself to feel bad for him. That would show weakness, and she vowed to herself she would never show weakness again.
