Fire and Ice
"Mulligan, send it back."
Lucky and some of the others were at the beach playing volleyball, or atleast trying to. Lucky looked to Hawk as he had a fed up expression. "There's no mulligans in volleyball."
Demetri scoffed. "Says you. Water break." Lucky watched as Demetri walked past her over to his bottle. She looked at Hawk, "Do I have to be on his team?"
Demetri rubbed his face in their Cobra Kai towel as two girls walked past, stopping to look at him. "Cobra Kai? You guys won the karate tournament, right?" Lucky rose her eyebrows and looked away as she saw Hawk furrow his eyebrows from beside her.
"The All Valley? The rumble in Reseda?" Demetri threw the towel over his shoulder and awkwardly lent on the pole of the net. "We, uh... We certainly did."
Lucky and Hawk just stared in disbelief. "Cool. We're gonna go for a swim, but maybe play with you later?" One of the girls nodded her head and smiled. "Pffft... Mos' def. Uh, that means 'most definitely'."
Lucky looked to Hawk, "No shit." The girls just laughed and walked away, waving."
Moon walked over to Demetri, causing Hawk and Lucky to follow after her. "Look at you, player."
Hawk rose his eyebrows. "It would be nice if you earned the Cobra Kai cred you're so happy to take. When are you ever gonna sign up?"Demetri held his arm out in defense. "I don't know. I'm kind of enjoying the gain without the pain." Lucky squinted from the sun as she pulled her arm up to shield her eyes. "And what exactly are you gaining, all your doing is talking to girls and then never seeing them again."
Before Demetri could answer Miguel joined them. "Hawk." He looked defeated, as if he would rather be anywhere else. "Hey, there's the man." She watched as they dapped eachother up, tilting her head.
"What's up?"
"No. No more of this. Look, it's a beautiful day out. The beach is packed with babes. No more sulking about Sam."
Lucky walked over to them. "I'm not sulking about Sam. It's about Sensei."
"Why, did something happen." Hawk looked at Lucky and then Miguel as she said this. "Is this about his rap sheet? My parents read it online. I think it makes him more badass."
Lucky watched in confusion as Miguel turned his head away and then looked straight at them. "It's about him and Robby Keene." Lucky's head shot up at this earning a glance from the two boys.
"What?"

"So I did a deep dive online and you were right. Sensei's definitely Keene's father." Lucky, Hawk and Miguel were in the dojo stretching.
"But how?" Lucky scratched her head as she pondered. Hawk furrowed his eyebrows as Miguel looked at her. "What do you mean how? You don't know how?"
Lucky shook her head. "Well obviously I know how. But like, how?"
Miguel sighed. "I just don't understand why he wouldn't tell us." Hawk just shrugged. "I dont know. But it explains why he's giving us shit for kicking Keene's ass at the tournament. Show no mercy, unless it's his son."
