And just like that Haeun was going to be face to face again with the man she loved which every fibre of her being six years ago again, for the second time today. Her and Felix had both heard Jisung's panicked voice from the kitchen and looked at each other. One with shock and concern and the other with uncertainty. Did she really want to see Chan again?

I mean, after her night with Jaemin, she wasn't too sure how to think anymore. Not with how she was so quick to defend him, which shocked herself. Maybe it was past feelings creeping back on her but she didn't have too much time to dig deep into her thoughts as the second ding of the doorbell chimed through the silent apartment.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Felix whispered to Haeun as his eyes darted between hers.

Haeun silently nodded, a small sting of confidence coursing through her. It's now or never, even if she tried to ignore him forever- it would be impossible.

Jisung slowly walked to the front door and opened it, peaking his head round the small gap to see Chan stood there.

One headphone in his ear, the other dangling loosely from his neck. The makeup they wore for their debut stage was now smudged a little but his black mask covered it quite well. He was wearing a casual baggy grey hoodie and sweatpants to mask his appearance even more.

The guy sent a toothy smile Jisungs way to which he nervously smiled back.

"Heyyy Channn." Jisung slipped out from behind the door and shut it gently behind him.

"Hey Han, is everything okay?" Chan frowned, taking out the headphone from his ear now shoved into his jacket pocket.

Han laughed anxiously and leaned back on the door. How the fuck was he going to word this?

"Uhm, so basically... Haeun's inside."

The hooded guy's eyes widened as his lips parted slightly, that was not what he had expected.

There was a brief silence as Jisung inspected Chan's reaction while he stared at his hands lost in thought.

"Maybe it's time you two finally talked it out... I mean, you haven't spoken to her in like six years, Chan." Jisung reached up and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. The gesture was sweet and it gave Chan a little bit of hope, he had screwed everything up twice already... maybe third time is the charm.

His feelings for the pink haired girl had never changed, the moment he saw her again from backstage performing moments before the three boys were due on stage was enough to make Chan forget how to breathe. He will never forget how the light shined down on her frame as she sung her heart out to the people she love. The same sparkle in her light brown eyes that Chan could stare into for the rest of time. The way she grinned as she admired the thousand lights waving in the crowd to her blissful melody. The tears that pricked in her eyes as she bowed to the hurray of cheers and claps when her song had come to an end.

He wanted to run on stage and hold her tight, promising to never leave her again. He wanted to feel her soft pink lips again his once again and admire the beauty written on her face. He wanted to trace circles on her lower back to soothe her into a deep sleep when she would come back from practice and want nothing more to be in his embrace.

He wanted her so badly. But never in a million years did he believe she would want to be with him again. She deserved so much more than what Chan could ever provide. He hated JYP for what they made him do. He hated that he let his work take him way from the people he loved all because of a silly dream. But now- maybe the world has decided to give him one last chance. One last one and he can't afford to lose her. Not again.
