Chapter 26 - Buzz Words!

"Say cheeeeeszzze," Y/N swayed in her place as she clicked a picture of the seven boys huddled together on the couch.

"Wait, this is so stupid, why is Y/N clicking a picture of us?? Don't we have enough of those already?" Yoongi scratched his head lazily.

"Oh right, I brought out the camera to get one with her," Jimin smacked himself on the forehead. "Come here, you," he leaped off the couch and pulled Y/N between them all.

The group settled around Y/N as Taehyung set up the timer on the camera. They stirred and fidgeted, trying hard to hold still while they waited for the flash to go off, but eventually burst into drunken laughter right before the camera clicked.

"That's our cue to leave," Jungkook offered his hand to Y/N to lift her off the couch.

"Visit us again Y/N!" Namjoon pressed his palm on her head, drumming his fingers affectionately, like one would be inclined to do to a pet.

"Take me with you Y/N, I'm realizing just how boring these guys are," Hobi groaned as he gave her a hug.

"This was literally the best night of my life hyungs," Y/N bowed to the group, her cheeks flushed from the alcohol.

"HEY!!" Jungkook glared at her with comically wide eyes, "I take offense to that, but I'll let it pass since you won the challenge."

"Ahem, you mean the one you let her win," Taehyung murmured in between a pretend cough, sending everyone cracking.

"What a nice girl, isn't she?" Namjoon smiled to the whole group as soon as the door shut behind Jungkook and Y/N.

"I know right!" Hoseok jumped onto the couch with a sigh, "I'm so happy for our Kookie!"

"I don't like to be corny but she's absolutely perfect for him!" Yoongi nodded from his seat on the kitchen counter.

"I'll go one step further and say she's perfect for us," Jin added with a chuckle. "In case you haven't noticed, we're not easy to handle."

"Did anyone else notice how similar she is to Kooks?" Jimin lowered himself onto the couch, cuddling up to Hobi, "Jin hyung kept kicking me under the table during dinner to point it out to me, and I couldn't believe my eyes."

"Like how?" Yoongi raised his neck off the beanbag he was sprawled on lazily.

"Like she fucking thanked the fish before she scaled it," Jin cackled, lapping his thigh in amusement.

"Oh right, I saw them both clap in tiny after every bite. How cuuuutee!" Hoseok exclaimed, squeezing Jimin closer to his chest.

"Oh yeah, wasn't she also blowing on her ice cream?" Namjoon chimed in.

"Oh fuck, you're right, I saw that too!" Yoongi joined the chorus.

"And don't forget her impression of Jungkook," Jin giggled inwardly, his cheeks bright pink from the warmth of the alcohol, and perhaps his own uncontrollable laughter.

"Oh my god yeah, that was hilarious and oddly accurate," Jimin added, as the rest of the group broke into a loud guffaw in agreement. "Our Jungkook's finally met his match, literally."

"You know what that means when couples begin to do that right?" Hobi winked teasingly. "Remember Namjoon and Eunhye?"

"Are you guys kidding me?" Taehyung finally spoke, rising from his chair in the corner of the room. "Am I the only one who thinks Jungkook is moving too fast and that we barely know Y/N?"

"Yeah, you barely know her Tae, but Jungkook has known her for almost six months now," Hobi waved him off.

"Yeah bu- but, it's like Jungkook got so wrapped up in her the minute he met her!"
