The blood spilled across the floor, staining the once white, lavish robes which were worn by those whom decorated the sky like cotton clouds as they roamed in the wind. Under the distant spotlight of the moon, casting a silky, silver border around the massacre, he stood in the middle of it all. The pavement became slippery, iced by the blanket of crimson liquid which stalked along every crack in the concrete ground. Overpowered and driven by acrimony eating away at his mind, he wouldn't stop until they were all gone. This world needn't have any hope. He gasped under the gentle breeze which ruffled his hair like his best friend used to. Those eyes, thirsted for the screams and splatter of blood, were pained; madness lurking in the depths of the void, buried behind the endless, empty tunnel of his pupil.

Ten clawed fingers. A singular talon digging deeper into the fragile skin. A twisted mind equivalent to the twisted necks of his victims. His lips parted, a dry tongue lapping over them, consuming the blood which dribbled from the corner of his mouth. The right corner of his lips quirked upwards. Looking at the countless corpses bowing down to him, he smiled. He looked up at the sky, night bleeding into day. Reddened by the uprising sun, the sky compared to the bloodied pavement. The secluded area where he performed his extermination would be found by no one except for those in white.
Not a single human came here; it was the land of peace.

The depopulation of those in white robes was the best he could do to prove worthy to his father. He closed his eyes and looked at the sky, slender body caressed by the tender stare of the falling moon as it drooped below the mountains which isolated this part of the land. The only reason this area kept its peace was due to the cloistered area it was in. Tenacious wings bulged out from his back as he lifted into the sky, pushing off with his legs as he took an individual glance back to the mass murder he accomplished.

Father should be proud of me. Moving further and further away from the spillage of blood blemishing concrete, he charged his way towards the moon which rooted below the mountains, just barely in sight. He landed down on the ground and his wings dissolved. He wanted to look like this: a human. Sauntering up to a house, blocked by a wooden fence around the front yard, he looked at the colossal windows and noticed that the lights were on.

He placed his pale hand on the wood and looked up at the sky once more, the day tearing expeditiously through the night. He pushed past the gate which swung to a close as he strolled through it. With a reluctant sigh, he entered his father's house to tell him about the execution of those in white robes. As soon as he strolled through the oak door which whipped open with a vociferous rasp, he was instantaneously greeted by his father.

His beard, a tuft of grey hair on his chin. His hair was black with streaks of grey, too. Smooth skin, whiter than paper, stood out mostly, accompanied by the muted colors of his clothes: grey tracksuit.

"Father, I did it!" He explained frantically, "I killed ov--"
"Lex," his father sighed with disappointment. His father pressed his lips together, forging a straight line on his distasteful face. "You have yet to kill the one I want. You remember, don't you? Or do you need teaching again?"

Lex felt a surge of chills sliver through his blood and he froze up like an icicle about to snap. "No, I don't need teaching again... father," he stuttered, recalling his old teachings and he bowed his head down, unable to meet him in the eye with the fear which taunted his mind. "Good. Now, I don't need to be held up with a thing like you. If you want to be accepted by us, then you have to kill that one. Understood?"
"Understood..."

His father gave one last look at his son and turned away without saying anything. "Goodbye. Father..." He spoke softly, quieter than the whisper of wind. And with that, he left. Once outside the wooden fencing, he looked at the windows again, the lights flickering off. He ran into the shadows of the vacant alleyway, wine red wings extending from his back once again. This time... This time! I'll get you.

He crouched down; wings spreading out like a bird taking flight. He pushed off from his legs and took to the sky, the hollow sound of the rushing wind being pushed down from underneath his beating wings. Like the faint sound of a heartbeat.

He inhaled the air in a deep breath. A glimpse of white. Is that you? He rushed forwards, quicker that the wind he glided on. Like a scuba-diver finding something fascinating, he dived down and followed the white just below him. Lex sailed smoothly through the sky and propelled himself upwards, still out of sight although the sun was beginning to peek above the mountains. The one in white looked down at the people in the town then flew over to the secluded area.

He was met by the annihilation of his friends. Their robes, now painted red instead of white, were the first thing which caught his attention. Before he could absorb the scene before him, Lex's feet met with the white robe in the sky. The wearer of the robe looked up. Unwanted to be seen, Lex struck down, pushing his next victim down to the ground. As soon as he hit the ground, Lex landed next to him, wings shrinking until they were immersed back into his back. He looked down at his sufferer. "So, you are him," Lex said in a low, gravelly voice. Finally, he looked at his attacker.

Quicker than Lex's eyes could register, he maneuvered around him and knocked him to the floor where he was just laying, foot in between his shoulder blades, carefully pressing down.

"Who is him?"
Lex turned his neck around and took a glimpse of him. Shocked by his unique and different appearance, he took in a sharp breath of air. "You really are him, then."

Lavishly dressed in an almost luminous, white robe, he peered down at Lex. He was impossibly good looking, with a mighty look on his face. Lex frowned. He had expensively posh clothes and a slender figure. To further improve his looks, he had a sharp jaw line and radiant, golden eyes which really stood out. His coruscated eyes were literally inhuman. Out of all the others dressed in white, he had never seen one with golden eyes before. His extravagant robe at the bottom left had patterns of faint pink flowers – probably from sakura trees – all attached to a branch crawling up his robe. It was only on the left side and the decorations stopped at his waist where there was a wide, black, posh but velvety, belt wrapped around.

Lex's tail was unmoving on the floor. The Angels didn't have a tail, but he still checked if Anouke did – he didn't. But, he had a unique appearance and strange aura, so he couldn't be certain if he did or didn't have a tail. But now he knew.

His hair was somehow even flashier than his clothing. It was thick and wavy, almost silvery, and abundant. Silky with a velour look, it laced over his brilliant eyes. His venerable hair looked like snow (and looked as soft as snow to say the least). Lex tried to claw at his shin to escape from the powerful foot which held him captive.

"Uh-uh. I'm not letting you go." Lex gritted his teeth and slumped his shoulders at those words. He closed his eyes and began to think of his next move. Disturbed from thought though, the one in white grabbed him by both shoulders and took him someplace else.
