Lex sat on the couch beside Anouke, mind running with questions. What will happen when he changes? What about Ariuk – or Kurkoren – Akuma, Dayle? Will they be after him even more than they already are? Will he still be able to change into a Bai Ze? And if he can, will there be any changes: In appearance or just personality? When he changed last time – into a Bai Ze - he was more aggressive and murderous, but if he can still change when he's an Angel, will he be more kind and caring?

Then he thought about what Akuma had said. 'Bai Ze's are on humanities side.' Humans are the cruel ones in this world, not Angels or Demons. They're worse than Demons. If it's true that a Bai Ze is a human's pet, does that mean that he'll always be cruel and mean as a Bai Ze?

"What're you thinking about that has you looking so serious, Lex?" Anouke asked with a smirk. "You're cute when you look so serious," he teased.
"A-Anouke!" He said, flustered. He covered his slightly pink cheeks with his un-marked hand and looked away embarrassed. "Don't say such ridiculous things." He said in a commanding voice.
"My, my. Aren't we serious, hm?" He said, teasing Lex again. He got up from the couch and stood in front of Lex. Lex felt intimidated but wouldn't let Anouke know that.

"Why do you keep teasing me?" Why is my heart racing?
"I enjoy it. Your reactions are cute. I love seeing them." He smiled. He leant forwards, pinning Lex between his arms and his hands grasped the back of the leather couch.
"Though, I am wondering one thing. What has you so flustered, hm?" He questioned.
"Uhm..." Anouke leant closer, and the tips of his hair brushed against Lex's.
"What's taking you so long to answer?" He spoke after a beat or so of silence.

He reeled away from Lex and looked at his even more flushed face. "Hm." He sat back down and crossed his legs, acting as if that situation had never happened. "Well, you said you felt hungry but also said that you felt like your stomach would pop." He said with a small laugh. "Would you like to try and eat?"
"No, not really." Lex stated. How can he act so casual?

"What do you want to do?" Anouke asked, pondering as he cupped his chin between his index finger and thumb. "Well, it's not something I want to do, but rather something I want to ask. Oh, uhm- only if you're comfortable with it, of course!" He said slightly embarrassed, still flustered from the earlier situation.

"Ah, and what is it that you would like to ask, Lex?"
"W-Well... It only came to mind since you did it earlier. You used your magic. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining." He paused and took in a small breath.

"When we had only recently met and had started fighting suddenly, I asked you to use your magic to try and irritate you, but the look on your face seemed horrified." Before Lex could explain any further, Anouke frowned and began to speak. "Aha, it's like you're trying to get me to reveal all of my deep secrets." He whispered sorrowfully, voice cracking. "Ah, like I said, only if you want to and are comf--"
"I killed somebody with it."

Lex's heart began to pound against his chest. So he's killed somebody else other than my mother? That's surprising. Just... Who did he kill this time? Or, why did he kill them? What did they do and why? I wonder...

"I can already tell what you're thinking, hm." Anouke ushered. "You want to know who, don't you?" He looked at Lex. "I'll tell you, I don't mind." Lex shifted closer to him in a comforting gesture. He wasn't sure how to cheer people up since he never really cared about it before and was always fighting, so he didn't know how to truly care for people. But he tried his best and Anouke seemed to be able to tell and beamed gratefully at him.
Ha, thank you, Lex. "Well, uhm. I know I told you that your mother killed my parents – and she did, that wasn't – and isn't – a lie. But... I never told you how I killed her, did I?"
