Chapter 2 - Lost in the woods

Luna's POV

"WAIT!" I heard Cuppy running after me, shouting to get my attention. What's up Cuppy? I said. "should I go with you? it will probably be boring here anyways and I don't want to be around dad anyways.." sure! I said happily. Cuppy grabbed her jacket and closed the door after her.

As we walked through all the Inkwell Isles, we saw many friends doing their daily stuff. We greeted Dusk who was just chilling outside, Then we saw Arlo who was talking with someone with a blue nose and a blue straw, he seems like a really nice person! oh! and then we saw Teammy at the carnival! we decided to only buy some popcorn there and leave as fast as we can because the carnival isn't trustful enough..

After some time we landed into the dark woods, we knew it was getting late and we had to get home now but suddenly I heard: "ehh Loonz, I think we're lost.." we are WHAT?! I almost screamed out of fear. it's getting dark we HAVE to go home now! I almost cried those words out of my mouth. Calm down now Luna, we'll figure this all out, let's make a plan. Cuppy said calmly. then what is your plan? we don't have any stuff to help us! I said. Cuppy sighs and then said: Ok, if you stay here, then I will check the direction of the moonlight, maybe that brings us home again, I'll be back soon! and then she ran away into the darkness of the big and scary woods.

Cuphead POV

i was on my way to get Mugman and bring us home, he was at Arlo's house today. "hmm" I said out loudly. I have this kind of idea that that Arlo guy might like my brother, but that ain't my business after all. I made an "ewww" face thinking of them being in love and stuff. by the time I have talked to myself I finally arrived at Arlo's home and went for the bell to ring. then Arlo happily opens the door for me. "Hii Cuphead! nice to see ya pal!" I greeted him back and went inside after Arlo telling me to come in. Mugs, it's time to go home now. I said. "coming!" Mugman got up from the chair he was sitting on and walked up to me, but then forgot to thank Arlo for bringing him in. Mugman gave Arlo a quick hug and I just saw how Arlo was secretly blushing. "lucky for Mugs he didn't saw Arlo blushing" I thought. we said our goodbyes and went outside again.

So Mugsy, how was your day going? I asked "it wen't great! we went outside for a bit and talked for hours! he's such a nice fella!" I rolled my eyes knowing it was just them two flirting without them knowing. So how was yours Cuphead? Mugman asked me. Meh kinda boring to be honest.

as we walked further we started to see the sky becoming dark meaning night was coming close what also means that we have to get home fast before Elder Kettle becomes mad at us for being too late. as I looked into the sky I suddenly bumped into something or someone.

Oh I'm so sorry I- I could not speak properly for some reason because I bumped into a girl. I felt so embarrassed that I started to blush immediately while Mugman was staring at me holding his laugh. "Oh it's totally fine, I'm ok!" The mug girl said. when I wanted to have a good look on her for who she was I immediately stopped breathing. that girl looks beautiful.. I thought.
