I saw how the red cup was staring at me and became worried.
are you okay? I asked in a soft yet worried way.
The red cup starts to shake his head and starts to speak.
"oh uh- yeah! I'm perfectly fine thanks heh.. anyways, I forgot to introduce ourselves, my name is Cuphead, and this here is my brother Mugman!" The red cup named Cuphead said.
Oh! My name is Luna and this is my sister Cuppy! I said while Cuppy tries to shake hands with both Cuphead and Mugman. I did the same but stopped when I looked closely at Cuphead. I felt too nervous to shake hands with him but it would be too rude not to do it so I just took his hand and shook it. "was it me or did his hand felt so comfortable and warm in my hand?" I thought, but quickly shook the thought out of my head.
"so what were you guys doing here outside anyways? it's too late now and it could be dangerous for you two to be alone" Mugman asked us.
"well we were about to just take a small walk outside but landed in the woods here and now we don't know the way back home because it's too dark.." Cuppy told Mugman and Cuphead.
"we also were about to go home, it's not too far from here now, maybe you two can stay for the night till tomorrow?" Cuphead asked.
"sounds like a good idea, Cuphead, it could be too dangerous to be alone here anyways" Mugman said.
Me and Cuppy also agreed with Mugman and we all walked back to the brother's home.
TIMESKIP TO CUPS AND MUGS THEIR HOUSE
"Golly, why are you boys so late?! I was so worried about you both!" an elderly Kettle figure asked worried to the boys.
"sorry Elder Kettle" the boys said both in unison. "if you don't mind, we made friends with 2 girls on the way home but they don't know the way back home because of the darkness, can they stay for one night, please?" Mugman asked politely
I saw Elder Kettle looking at us, he grins a bit and starts to speak.
"alright, but only for one night! and be nice and bring them home tomorrow morning after breakfast! I don't want such young girls to be alone in the woods." Elder Kettle said.
I started to smile widely and thanked the old kettle for bringing us in for the night.
but then I started to worry once again.
uh guys.. we don't have any sleepover stuff so how are we gonna sleep here? I asked.
The boys began to think but then Cuphead had an idea.
"you two can borrow our stuff, Luna can borrow my pajamas and Cuppy can borrow Mugsy's stuff, I know they're boys clothes but I think they would fit you both perfectly fine."
"and you guys can sleep in our beds, we can sleep on the couch" Mugman said.
are you sure? I don't think the couch will be the perfect sleeping place to lay on.. I asked with guilt in my voice.
Then Cuphead noticed my guilt and immediately tried to comfort me.

"it's totally ok Loonz, remember it's only for one night, we can handle that" Cuphead said with a soft smile.
i immediately started blushing at the nickname he gave me.
'weird, when Cuppy gives me a nickname it doesn't make me feel different, but when Cuphead says it I literally start smiling so widely' I thought.
i start to smile at him back and saw how Cuppy was smirking at me. I asked her what she was smirking at but she just shook her head.
"lets go to bed, it's getting late" Mugman said out of nowhere.
"good idea" Cuppy agreed.
we all said our goodnights and went to bed.
