Chapter 6 - Nothin' tah worry about

Hi y'all! Here's another chapter! What did you guys think about chapter 5? Anywayzz lets get going with this story!

Luna POV:

As i walked to my house i tried to slowly open the door but i think Cuppy heard me because when i opened the door, Cuppy was already standing there with a worried look on her face.

"Luna! Gosh have you looked at the time!? You have been gone for hours! Where were you?!" She almost screamed into my face saying that.

*Knowing Cuppy, i won't tell what exactly happend so i will just tell something a bit more different.*

"I eh.. i was just walking and if i remember it right i wanted to sit somewhere but then fell asleep"
"And what are those bruises on your legs?"

I then stopped breathing for a moment. *Now i have to get a better plan...* i thought.

" i uhm.. i- i fell! I think i walked over a rock and fell on my knees so thats where the bruises are from!"
At first it looked like Cuppy was looking suspicious but after that she just looked worried again.

"Okay?.. well, just go wash yourself, you look dirty as heck."

I nodded and went to the bathroom to clean myself up. As i walked into the shower, i kept thinking about what happend last night.. *should i tell Cuppy? Maybe its best to wait with that i guess..* i thought and then got into the shower and washed myself clean again.

Timeskip!

I heard the clock ticking as i was reading a book in a comfortable chair. Cuppy was just sitting on the couch watching the outside. Then the complete silent broke.

"Hey Loonz, is it really true that you fell? You don't even have a broken handle and you were far too long away from home.." Cuppy asked me.

I looked up from my book with a small suprised face.
"Yea i really fell and i really fell asleep, don't worry about it Cuppy." I told her and after that it went silent again.
It was an uncomfortable silence.
Then i broke the silence with an idea.

"Hey can we go to the brothers house? I am kinda feeling bored."
"Yea me too, Lets get our jackets and go to their house."

As we were walking, Cuppy kept looking at my legs, but this time i didn't mind anymore because this time i took on long pants so the bruises weren't visible.

As we arrived, i wanted to knock on the door so i did. Slowly the door opens for us and there was Elder Kettle welcoming us inside again.

"Hello dear young ladies! We were just about to get lunch ready! Wanna join us?" He asked us politely.
We nodded a yes excitedly, and after we were greeted inside.

Both the boys were already sitting at the table waiting for the food to he ready. Mugman was holding a plane toy and Cuphead was just staring out of boredom. When they saw us coming, they excitedly greeted us.

I felt someone staring at me and when i looked, i saw Cuphead staring at me but when i noticed him he quickly looked away. I couldn't help but let out a small giggle because i knew he was just bored of hearing his little brother making plane noices all the time.

As we also sat at the table, i saw Elder Kettle walking towards the table with fresh made bread.

"It smells delicious mr Kettle!" I said out loud.
Cuppy nodded in agreement.

"Thank you my dear!" Elder Kettle said and patted my mug head.

We began to eat the fresh made bread and gosh everything was delicious! But suddenly Cuphead started talking.

"Have you guys also heard a scream last night? It woke me up because it was so loud!"
"I told you Cuphead, it was just the goat." Mugman sighed.
"I've also heard something last night, but after that i fell asleep again." Elder Kettle said.

I felt Cuppy looking at me again, but i tried ignoring it.
"The only thing i know is that Luna was outside last night for hours and came back just this morning!" Cuppy said and then the whole group was now looking at me with big eyes.

"What were you doing up so late?!"
"Are you okay dear?"
"Were you the one screaming last night?!"

They kept asking me stuff but suddenly i told them to stop for a moment, i told them just what i told Cuppy and then they did a relieved sigh. Only thing was there was one person who was looking at me worriedly and it wasn't Cuppy.

After we finished everything, we decided to just hang around for a bit till after dinner so we can go home after.

Timeskip!

It was an hour before dinner time and i felt the need to watch the moon for a bit. Always when i need to clear my head, i walk outside to just stare to the moon and hope for the best.

I was about to get my jacket when i felt an arm on my shoulder. It was Cuphead.
I jumped a little by the sudden move but seeing it was him i calmed down a bit.

"Hey i'm sorry if i spooked ya, are you okay? Why are you getting your jacket anyway?" He asked me softly.
"Oh! Eh.. i was about to go outside to watch the moon and stuff, i'll be alright." I told him.
I saw how he was looking worriedly at me, might knowing the truth how i'm really feeling, but then he broke the silence again.

"Ya know, eh, it's getting late and after i heard those screams from last night i don't want you to be alone right now, may i join ya for a bit till dinner is ready?" He asked.

I started to blush but quickly tried to hide it. *that's so kind of him for not letting me alone, but what if he finds out the truth about what really happend?* i thought.

"Alright you can come with me, but just till dinner is ready!" I laughed softly.

We told Elder Kettle and the rest we will take a small walk, got our jackets and we ran outside.

*i hope no one will find out what really happend last night..*

This was chapter 6 y'all! It might be a little boring but i promise better chapters will come soon!
