Y/n put on her SNU uniform, which was a bit short for her, but she didn't mind. After she finished putting on her natural makeup look, (which wasn't too much) she was out the door.

Hopping on her bike, she waved to her next door neighbor, who was a first year at SNU. He had attractive golden brown eyes. He gave off major golden retriever energy. Y/n had never met a person like him before; he was giddy and bubbly.

She knew that many girls fell for him because of his sweet personality and looks, but she wasn't like other girls. She only thought of him as a friend.

"Noona, wanna take the bus together or take a nice walk, just the two of us?" he asked, showing off his glowy pearly whites.

"Uhhhh." She looked the other way. "Maybe tomorrow." Y/n didn't want it to sound as awkward as it was, but it made the boy, Kim Hayun, upset. Obviously he didn't show it because he always has a smile on his face.

"Okay!" he said, showing a fake smile.

"See you tomorrow." Y/n waved goodbye and rode off on her bike.

Arriving at SNU, Y/n locked her bike and headed to the cafeteria, hungry for breakfast and craving her favorite strawberry milk.

She entered the quiet cafeteria, only a few students sitting at the tables on their laptops. She chose a slice of milk bread.

Silently she peered at the other items, none of them peeking her interest as she wanted strawberry milk.

When she spotted the chilled drinks, she moved along there.

There were many options. Maybe she should try something different instead?

Banana milk? Milkies? The drinks didn't sound very good so she went to reach for the last strawberry milk.

As if the scene was in slow motion, a hand swiftly takes the place of hers, and now the strawberry milk she had once seen before her eyes is gone and a boy scoots in front of her, ready to pay.

Completely upset and partly humiliated, Y/n says in an annoyed tone, "So you're just going to take the strawberry milk I was going to take?"

The boy whipped his head around—his looks made Y/n instantly regret her decision.

But in a rather oddly calm voice, he stated, "You were taking so long. What else was I supposed to do?"

"I was thinking. Now can I have my milk back?"

The boy looked surprised, then offended. "I took it first, buddy. So if you don't mind, shut up."
