Conundrum

In my story, Anirudh is 24 years old, and his Bondita is 14 when their marriage anniversary took place where all the problems started.

Her eyes wailed up at seeing his act, and reacted by holding his right wrist when he was not ready to give her the answer. But instead of opening his heart glares at her in pain and anger, which is not unnoticed by Bondita and their family members.

I felt uncomfortable in my heart, unable to answer Bondita's question. How can I say that it's not even a marriage?
