IMPORTANT AUTHORS NOTE:
This chapter is mainly going to give information about Greek mythology.

If you don't know much about this topic then you have to read this chapter, because if you don't then you will be really clueless about things that will happen in future chapters.

If you are like, " Pshhhh, I already know everything about this stuff," then go ahead and skip this chapter because then there won't be any point in you reading this chapter.

Each of the major gods have their own books, each with a few hundred pages. There are also books dedicated to the many minor gods and titans.

There is a god and titan for everything you could think of(luck, revenge, crossroads, a god for each major river, intelligence, beauty, music, hunting, delivering, peace, heck, even wine).

There are also various demigods and heroes like Hercules, Perseus, Odysseus, and Achilles. There are countless monsters like the Hydra, Medusa (which is one of three gorgons), Cerberus, Minotaur, and the Cyclopes.

I grab the book about Apollo. I start reading everything I can in the little time I have.

Apollo is mainly known for being the god/lord of the sun and light. He is often depicted as handsome and fit.

Most of the pictures of his statues are naked or playing a golden lyre, or both.

The people of Ancient Greece believed that it was Apollo that bought up the sun each day riding his sun chariot, and without the sun, their crops would die.

He is the god of music, truth and prophecy, healing and medicine, light and sun, plague, and poetry. (Plague is a killer contagious disease.)

Apollo is the son of Zeus and Leto. I grab a
book on Zeus. Zeus had the biggest book of all of the gods. Zeus is the leader of the gods and the most powerful.

Apparently, Zeus had many children with many different women. Whoa, Roberts grandfather likes to get it on.

Zeus's book only mentioned Leto once in the chapter that just tells about the woman Zeus (beep)ed with and what children they made.

I looked back at Apollos book. There was some information about Leto in his book. Leto was a very beautiful woman and that caught the eye of Zeus.

Leto was the daughter of two titans, Coeus and Phoebe.

Hera(out of jealousy) made all land shun Leto so Leto won't be able to give birth on land while pregnant.

Leto found an island that wasn't connected to the ocean floor so technically, it isn't land.

Apollo had an older twin sister, Artemis. Leto gave birth to both of them on that island.

Apollo and Artemis both became major gods. Something they both have in common is that their signature weapon is a bow and arrows and they can heal and hunt.

Artemis is the goddess of the moon and hunting. She is also the goddess of chastity so she is a virgin.

That seems to be all the basics. I check out the book on Apollo and put it in my backpack, planning to read it on spare time.

I head to my first class.

Okay, so I gave you information on Apollo and stuff. So here, I would make an encyclopedia on everything that will happen in the future of this book relating to Greek mythology.
P.S. John lives in the same world as demigods, so yeah, I will be making a crossover sometime soon.
