Chapter 3: Starts

Teammates. Well, Merlin is very straight forward. They all get up except one dark haired, goth looking girl sitting in the left side against the wall away from the other four.

Another cute girl with blonde hair around my age comes to me first. "Hi. I am Catherine, but you can call me Kate. I am a fairy, heir of the throne to all of magic."

She seems nice. Another guy with blonde hair also my age, but really buff comes to me next. "I am Mitchell. I am a super mutant. I can do any super power you can think of. Yeah I am awesome."

Some other guy with brown hair about a year older than me greets me also. "I'm Mark. I was built by a tech genius. Technically I am a bionic. You could call me the brains, but I am well capable of strength, speed, and anything else technology can do and it could do a lot."

The last one besides the goth girl is another brunette girl my age that is cute. This is going to be a fun class. "I am Madison. Unlike you I was born and raised in the world you were raised in. Earth. I have been a secret agent since I was eight. I became one of the best spies in two years. When I was eleven, I discovered Merlin here opening a portal and accidentally followed him."

Merlin instructs them to sit. "John, I will be sending you home to Earth with Madison everyday after training. She lives in New York City and you are in Houston. That is why your first lesson will be on creating portals."

Another woman comes in that is in her thirty's. She has black hair that reaches to her waist. She is Asian, but has a serious look.

"Class, this is Sani. She will be your physical trainer. While I help with getting your powers better, Sani will teach you combat skills because even with powers, you will be fighting often and that is important.

John, Catherine, and Venice, you will be with me today...", I assume Venice is the goth girl, "... Mark and Mitchell, Sani will be training with you. And Madison, your instructor is running a tad bit late.

Just then a brown haired man also in his thirty's come in. "Sorry I am late Merlin. A friend of mines messed with my teleporting device and- Mark? What are you doing here."

Mark had wide eyes, "I am training here. What are you doing here, William?" William replies, "I am an instructor. For your creator, I sure don't keep tabs with your life very much."

"No you don't," is all Mark can say. They don't seem to talk much. Merlin breaks the silence, "So William, lead Madison over here to the technology lab and introduce her to some weapons she can use and teach her how to use them."

"Yes sir," and William walks out with Madison. "Sani, you could train the two boys in the underground gym/dojo," Merlin instructs.

Sani looks toward Mitchell and Mark, "You two boys will be impressed with yourself in a few hours. Follow me." Mitchell is excited and Mark isn't as much, but just looks curious to what Sani will teach them.

Merlin than opens another door camouflaged to look like the rest of the wall and on the other side is a small room with a hole. "Walk forward you three and don't be afraid. On the bottom is something that will keep you from falling to your death."

Venice is the first to jump down. Kate volunteers next. She close her eyes and takes a deep breath. Then, her whole body disappears.

I have no choice. It is my turn.
