"Hey Okuda!! " The purple haired girl turns around to see Kayano running towards her. "Oh hey Kayano! Whatcha need! " As Kayano stops to take a breath, she quickly takes in Okuda's happy expression. "Nothing! Just wanted to catch up with you! " The greenette starts to dust off her uniform. "Also I wanted to ask a question. " "Sure! Do you need anything? " The girl responded as she started walking, her friend beside her.

"Do you mind telling me why are you're so happy? " Okuda stopped. "I mean like! It's not like you're always sad or anything it's just that you seem very squeeky and happy like you scream your words nowadays instead of a hushed voice! " The greenette tried really hard to not sound offensive.

"Should I tell her? " The scientist shooked her head. "Nothing really! Uh.. Oh! My experiments are going really well nowadays! Thats all! " Okuda responded with a stuttering tone. Well she's not lying, her experiments are going extremely well but that's obviously not the real reason why she's so jittery. "Okay.. Whatever you say. " Kayano obviously knew she was lying. Who wouldn't? She wasn't like super observant like Karma or Nagisa but even the most dense person in the galactic universe could tell she's lying.

And Okuda knew that.

She knew that her lie was called bluff. She totally messed up that entire lie but as long they stop asking questions she'll be fine. Right?

Finally she mustered up the courage to say it without stuttering. "It's just that it's kinda nerve-wercking, what's happens if they find me weird or even worse think I'm different! " The h/cette sighed, knowing where she's coming from. Y/n knew that even with Manami's overthinking, she can't say for sure if her class will accept her. And surely she doesn't want the person she adores most to feel excluded or even worse, bullied.

"Okay fine, I get your concern.. " The both sit in silence as the area starts getting gloomy but even with the silence, they both were thinking about what to say. "But can you at least tell them about me. Tell them you have a partner you love very much and vice versa? " Okuda looked at her eyes, filled with desperation.Okuda took a minuet to think. Then Okuda smiled
